Hometown Slice Pizza

I wish I took pictures when I had their pizza. I have been here twice, and adore their pizza options. I have had the pickle, veggie and the picante pizzas, all of which I would order again. The godfather pizza smelled absolutely wonderful as well. I love the different size options, as you can get a more personal-style pizza or a few large pizzas to share. On Thursdays, I believe they run a bogo deal, so we got a large and medium well within the price range. I don't go out for pizzas too much anymore, but Hometown Slice for me has been consistently good. Their website is so easy to order from, and their workers are very nice. I hope this becomes a hometown favorite in the years to come.

The quality since my first review has gone down. Large salad was filled with onions and shredded lettuce you would find on a burger. Wings dry. Undercooked veg pizza. I'm told the pepperoni pizza was decent. Salad dressing came in packages. Both were opened ?! Why ?!

This restaurant is not even 3 weeks old, and I'm already in love with it. A perfect addition to our local food scene! My hubby and I were greeted by cheerful staff, and our order was immediately taken. There were a lot of delicious choices as far as their specialty pizzas went. They even make a Dill pickle pizza! We went with the ever-controversial Hawaiian pizza, hold the ham, and add onion. The pizza was very tasty, hot, and fresh. The sauce was slightly sweet. The crust was medium and crisp on the end. Our medium 8 cut was are $15.00.The traditional chicken wings were excellent. Cooked to a crisp perfection and not rubbery. The smokey bacon ranch sauce knocked it out of the park. The price for 8 was about average. And word on the street says that they have a killer cauliflower crust. I will be trying it next time! Overall, I highly suggest supporting local business and not another chain pizza shop!

Decent neighborhood pizza shop. I tried the hot honey pepperoni pizza and the mango habanero wings. The pizza was very tasty and delicious along with the wings. This is a nice addition to the Painesville area

I walked in at about 8pm on a Saturday night. Cashier greeted us and provided friendly service. Pizza was ready in about 20 minutes. The pizza was delicious! The atmosphere was clean and comfortable to be in.This will be my go to pizza spot!

Decent Pie option is a town struggling for a pizza shop. Kind of reminds me of old school pizza hut with the nice brown on the cheese. If someone opened a dine in pizza parlor around this area I think it would be non stop busy.

The pizza was amazing. We got the taco, a calzone, wings, and a 2 topping large pizza. The prices were fair and the food was awesome. The building was very clean and the staff was friendly!

I thought all the bad reviews were from picky people so I set out to prove them wrong. Ended up waiting 70 minutes for mediocre wings, soggy and mashed jo-jos, and a cold(supposed to be hot) sub with all the toppings on it that I ordered it to be without. I wouldn't send my mortal enemy here.

We ordered a few weeks back when they first opened. They told us a two hour wait, which we totally expected and were 100% okay with. The food was good and all was well. We ordered again tonight. We were told a 60-75 minute wait so we waited. We went in and told them the name for our mobile order and only received blank stares back. They told us the pizza hasn't been put in the oven yet and it would be another 10 minutes. Totally fine, it happens. We came back 15 minutes later and were told another 7 minutes. I really try to be understanding and I know places get backed up so we weren't mad. We waited another 20 minutes in the lobby before anyone even acknowledged we were there. We saw a few people place orders and get their food before ours. And we didn't order much. A chicken tender dinner, one order of wings and a small pizza. Maybe we ordered on an off night, but it wasn't a great experience and the staff didn't seem too eager to get our food to us. I do hope this place is able to improve their customer service. The food is good, but the service needs some work.

After reading positive reviews for this shop I decided to give it a try for the first time. It was over a 15 minute drive but it was well worth the trip. The pizza was ready when I arrived as promised. The pizza was four toppings and it was baked perfectly. The crust was soft and easy to eat. They have a large variety of items on the menu. I will be returning.
