Just an old corner bar with average food. Nothing better than what you could make at home yourself. Does not have a commercial kitchen not my recommendation.

Really great burger. Like my mom used to make. Clean place and friendly people. Customers and staff having fun.

Incredible selection of ice cream goodies. And the coney dogs are pretty awesome, too!

Very great food. Treated like family as soon as I entered. Will definitely come back here again!!! Had a blast!

Continuing our epic burger quest, my friends and I journeyed from Fairlawn to Barberton on a Sunday night, based off a recommendation from a coworker. We had no idea what to expect, other than a burger.Hodge's neon sign greeted us on this dark, chilly night, and we pulled into the small parking lot across the street. Everything around looked rather run down, and my friends and I exchanged uncertain glances. The entrance by the lot is a nondescript door on the side of a dark and windowless wall, and us ladies made our black belt friend go first. He ushered us in, and immediately a smile broke across my face upon stepping inside, and I felt at home. The decor is simply fantastic. Think blue collar dive bar crossed with a country diner. There were a couple deer heads mounted on the wall, Christmas lights strung from the ceiling, and NASCAR on the televisions, complete with a huddle of retired men gathered around a screen with their beers. The booths are cozy, complete with red checked tablecloths.Our waitress was quite friendly, and we all put in our burger orders, along with a side of fries. She didn't ask us how we wanted them cooked, but we figured they were the masters. And indeed they were. Our burgers were all cooked medium to medium-well, and while we would usually prefer medium rare they were still juicy as all get out and packed full of flavor. It's also worth mentioning that these burgers are HUGE. We barely managed to finish the fries we ordered between the three of us! This isn't what I would call a specialty/craft/gourmet burger place, but definitely the most solid of straight-up burger places. We will be returning.Upon finishing and paying our checks, we were given burger punch cards. Earn all your punches, and you get a free burger. Sounds good to me!

Best burger in Barberton and It might be number one in Summit County . I called ahead and ordered takeout and It was hot and fresh!

Sadly this place Hodges, has been permanently closed for many months.Back in the day Hodge had the best food and burgers to die for. Hodge retired and turned the place over to other family. Sadly the place went down hill little by little and for a long time only opened when they felt like working a few hours, it was hit or miss. Now it's butter no more. Sad

Food is good but they are closed all the time, before they were remodeling it was always a flip of the coin if they would be open. So make sure you call before you drive there.

Really good food for a local pub. If you find yourself in Barberton, Ohio, you should stop in. The staff will welcome you like family.

My first time to Hodge's Cafe today. I was told by my friend how good the food is..... He was so RIGHT!!! I had the Mama burger with the Swiss cheese, bacon & grilled mushrooms & onions. The burger was cooked just right & juicy. Flavor was amazing!!!! It was so large I took 1/2 of my sandwich home for my dinner. Rick had the Breakfast burger which had a fried egg, bacon & cheese. He ate the entire sandwich Also we shared a plate of fresh cut fries which were excellent ! The experience & service with Josh was very kind, considerate & very efficient !!! The atmosphere is quaint, comfortable & clean! I've decided this is my new, favorite burger place! Josh explained the new expansion of the kitchen which will be much larger. This place is a gem hidden in Barberton. We can't wait to go back !!!!!!!! Thank You Josh !!!! We'll be back soon ! Rick & Paula
