I came to Hilarities for a murder mystery dinner how in the smaller theater downstairs. The show was titled Bachelorettes Over Board, which was fitting as I was there for a friend's Bachelorette party. The whole place is much bigger than I expected. You enter in through Pickwick and Frolic on the top floor, which is a full restaurant and I believe there are a few theaters there as well. Hilarities is downstairs. There's also a full retro bar downstairs next to the theater. The show was not my favorite. It was campy and the actors did a great job trying to get the crowd involved. Throughout the story and signing, they played some games and did karaoke with the crowd. However, the storyline was somewhat hard to follow, especially to be able to solve the murder. It was also pretty crude. While plenty of people were there celebrating bachelorettes, birthdays, etc. and of course it is 21+, a lot of the naughty humor just wasn't funny, so it made it that much worse. I give it 4 stars for the food and service. We were able to choose our entrees upon purchasing tickets, The options were, prime rib, chicken parmesan, haddock and a veggie pasta. I went with the chicken parm, which was honestly delicious. It came with large portion of penne with marinara and two big pieces of chicken. I thought the chicken was cooked well and perfectly breaded. The penne was basic, but it was cooked well and the sauce was fine. I also got to try some of my friends mashed potatoes that came with the prime rib. They were delicious and the grilled veggies were well seasoned. The haddock also looked good although I didn't try it. The service was good. Each table had a server that came around and took drink orders. We never had to wait too long for drinks. There was also a salad and rolls on the table when we sat down, which I appreciated. Overall it was a good experience, and the food exceeded my expectations.

What a cool comedy theatre! It's an underground venue that has a full bar and a great food menu. What more could you want? The drinks were flowing and the food was delicious. I ordered the Mr Bug cocktail and the ceviche and both were exactly what I needed. The comedians were hilarious and had us all laughing. Great show!

We came here for new years eve and had a great time. I really enjoyed the calamari, it was chewy and savory - not overcooked. Their drinks were also great, my husband and I both had 2 and they had great flavor and were pretty strong. My husband ordered the chicken fingers and fries and the sauces that came with it stole the show. The honey mustard and ranch were house made which I love! Some important things to know for this venue, there are no minimums if you don't want a drink or food you don't need to order there is no cover charge. It is also important to note you cannot pay cash, they have to retain a card with them while your table is open you cannot settle your check with cash before the show closes. So, knowing that is pretty important if you are a cash carrier.

We decided to do a last minute comedy show and it was amazing! The food and the drinks were very good. The server was prompt and very nice. She was knowledgeable about the menu and gave her favorite recommendations and they were great. The comedy area was very clean and comfortable we were in a booth.

The customer service at Hilarities is absolutely remarkable. My wife and I recently flew into Cleveland to visit some friends and see one of our favorite comedians. Well, unfortunately I accidentally bought tickets for Friday night and when we showed up with our friends on Saturday night, they informed us of the bad news about our tickets and that the show was sold out. BUT! That didn't stop the customer service team from rallying and figuring out a way to get us in. After about 15-20 minutes of the host coming back and forth trying to work it out, they finally were able to get us in and get us seated at a table WITH our friends. Simply put, they went above and beyond what they had to do and that's what great customer service is all about! Beyond the service, the venue is BEAUTIFUL, the seating is designed well in that there's really not a bad seat in the house. Highly recommended catching a show here!

Hilarities is always a great venue to see a show. The variety of acts they have is vast, the food and beverages are above par. Do yourself a favor and get the mozzarella triangles. They are the BEST ever!!!As far as the venue, there's not a bad seat in the house. The staff is helpful and friendly and the place is clean.

Got our tickets online the day before. Went down early from dinner at Pickwick and Frolic, and got good general admission seats. All 400 seats area good seats. The food menu we were handed were hardy appetizers, and it was the same app menu as upstairs. The stuffed mushrooms, calamari and wings were very good. There is now NO drink minimum! We wanted spiked hot coffee, which wasn't available. So we order a shot of Baileys and a hot coffee, and mixed the drink ourselves. The shot of Baileys was $8, plus the coffee! It was delicious, and perfect after dinner. The two openers we thought were better than the headliner act, but that's a matter of opinion. Hilarities is a nice comedy club. There are a lot of steps down to the lower floor. I don't know if there is an elevator. Next, we'll consider a burlesque show there, which is in another theater.

such a fun date night idea! Cant believe I had never gone before. its tucked away under a very neat restaurant, and the seats are actually comfy while you watch the show with a table in front of for drinks and snacks. the service is fast, and efficient. the staff was friendly. tickets were relatively cheap online. and the comedians were pretty fresking funny, you dont have to know who they are to get a good laugh!

Ed bassmaster showThis was not there best show. It was a sold out show so pretty busy. We were able to get seats towards the back. A group of girls behind us was very loud. The waitress told us multiple times that the manager was aware and they were going to keep an eye on them. On top of that in between each of his characters there was supposed to be a YouTube video to show you the character prancing someone before they came out. The internet was having trouble and the videos would not play or cut out. Since the videos took so long to play the acts seemed really short. I think they should have offered a discount for the show and all the issues.

First time here and it was great! My wife got us front row seats (not even realizing that we would be right up against the stage) but I don't think that there's a bad seat in the house. There's table side service during the acts and drinks are decently priced for being on East 4th. I hope we make it out here again soon.
