1st time there was on a Sunday and it happened to be during a Browns game. It was noisy of course, after the game was over it got easier to talk. The food was typical bar food in a typical bar. Good - not great, not terrible.I got the High Pointe burger. It is huge. Very tasty, but I live in Newton Falls and I am used to great burgers (Big D's). Service was kind of slow - probably because the waitresses are busy supplying drinks on game day. I didn't know the restaurant side is closed on Sunday or I would have definitely suggested someplace else to get a meal on NFL Sunday. Sorry - not really a fair review because of the day and time we went there for a meal. I'd be willing to go back and try again.

One half of this building is a family style restaurant and the other half is a bar. This dichotomy serves the public well, as there is something here for everyone. We visited the restaurant with another couple that are good friends of ours. I ordered the fish dinner which was very good. It came with French fries and a large side salad. My wife had the Veggie wrap and fries. She liked the wrap but said the fries were greasy and limp. The other couple ordered a mushroom burger and a Chef's salad. They both enjoyed their meals. The food was good and so was the service. However, I thought the menu prices were a little high for the value of the food. Our friends told us that they often get pizza from here to take-out and they really enjoy it each time.

Ordered pizza. They say it takes 35 to 45 minutes to make one which would have been nice to know before we ordered. Pizza burnt on the bottom and we're told that's because they don't put it in a pan. I couldn't cut it vert easy so I cut the bottom crust off. I can understand why the restaurant had almost no customers during dinner time.

We came to hear our friends, The Berry's play live music on a Friday night and it was our first time eating here. We walked into the tavern side and got lucky enough to find a table because they were filling up quickly. We were greeted by our server almost immediately after settling into to our table. We put in some drinks and appetizers because it was happy hour and it was almost over. The drinks came out in seemingly a blink of an eye and the appetizers soon enough. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and the hot peppers and oil with flatbread dippers. They were both prepared fresh and tasted flavorful. For our entrees I ordered the fried bologna sandwich and fries and she got the Santa Fe Chicken Wrap. Both were tasty and made to order. The service was great by both our server and the manager. They were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. There were moveable barriers between the bar seats that could be adjusted as needed and everything seemed properly sanitized and social distancing and mask wearing were both being enforced . We will definitely return here again and try some other dishes and hope to have another great experience.

Stopped by for lunch today. Not a soul in the dining room but the bar side seemed busy. Our food came out hot, fries were hot and fresh, the wraps were so good and the meatball sub was not overly drippy with sauce. Overall, a great meal and service. We were in and out in less than 45 minutes!

Waited for 1 hr and got a pizza on a precooked burnt crust. Had to throw it away. Very unfortunate. It was first time we visited this place.

First time at High Point tavern. Things started wrong when I ordered a beer which the waitress went to get but returned saying there out of that beer. We ordered dinner, my wife ordered chicken franchise and i ordered a sausage sandwich. It took almost an hour before we got our food. The chicken was tasteless and over garlicky. My sandwich showed up without the fries. The waitress brought them about 5 minutes later. Enough, I won't be back!
