Habaneros Taco's and Margaritas

First time here. Wednesday 12:30 & Only 1 other vehicle in the parking lot. Restaurant is dimly lit, one other table of 2. We are a party of 4. Seated in a booth with a solid wooden - no cushion bottom with no view. (Other booths seemed to have nice window view of the golf course. Extensive menu, sons chose & liked a nice dish containing pineapple. Husband stayed with his usual Mexican choice of chimichanga & said it was ok. I am a sucker for a relleno. I ordered the lobster relleno. (Only one on the menu.) this is where the wheels came off the bus!I was served a large plate covered with a THICK GREEN FLOUR TASTING MOUND OF GOO! I could NOT EAT IT! When the waiter came back to clean up after the other three had eaten, he looked at my plate and I said I can't eat that he said oh and left. No offer of any recourse refund replacement. Nothing not even an apology. I won't return.

Tasty food, generous portions, good service and wonderful ambience. Would love to see more veggie options, burrittos, chile Rellano, empanadas and such. Loved our visit!

Delicious Mexican food! We went around 4 on a Saturday and there was no wait. The food came so quickly and everything was delicious. There are not a ton of restaurants in this area (and definitely no other Mexican restaurants that I know of), so we will be back next time we're in the area!

The food is delicious! Everything we have gotten here is wonderful! We would recommend this restaurant to any who come to visit. The best in town.

This place was super cute, as it overlooked the golf course so it had a gread view and was entertaining to watch the players. It had a nice patio, but we sat inside the large room with lots of windows and it looked like they all opened if the weather was good! We came for lunch and we were the only ones there at that time, so everything came out pretty quickly.Jalapenos Nortenos- They were jalapenos stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon. I felt like they needed to be cooked longer, as the jalapeno was still a little crunchy (just my opinion.)Trio Sampler - It was okay, nothing to write home about. The "bean dip" was really just refried beans. The guac was underseasoned. The cheese dip wasn't very flavorful, but it was all doable for sure. The chips seemed homemade.Tacos- They had a ton of variety. I went with the Al Pastor. They were good, but I would be willing to try something else.Margaritas - again, ton of variety and I saw they had a ton of frozen options at the bar as well. I went with the hibiscus jamaica one and it was good but one was enough for me.

The ambiance is great! The spicy margarita was good, but the Al pastor tacos were mid at best. The meat was so dry and the flavor just didn't pop like a great Al pastor should. The service was not very attentive. We would have ordered more drinks and desserts of our server had been more attentive.

Food is good. Service is absolutely horrendous. I'm sitting here writing this review here in the restaurant. We have been waiting OVER AN HOUR. They rarely ever ask you about chips or drinks or any updates. There have been people mind you groups of 8 or more coming in and mind you we have a group of 5. It's not the best service therefore I'll give them a 1 star.

First time at this place and the food was amazing! Lots of options to choose from and the flavor was amazing. I am a major foodie and taste and presentation are huge components for me on whether or not I will go back to a restaurant. Staff were very polite and nice. Highly recommend!

The tortillas were perfect. The food was great. Came quick and hot. The service was polite and efficient. The view was great. Long steps up if that's a deal you should know. Authentic. Outdoor seating was nice. Shedded. We took a window seat inside.

It's all good here - reasonable prices & generous tasty Mexican food! Great seating on the patio overlooking the first tee at Black Gold.
