Gyro Time

First time getting food from this establishment and it is very clean. I like how I can see the food prep. I ordered a jumbo lamb/beef gyro and asked sauce on the side because husband was flying in after 10:00. They offered to do deconstructed so nothing got soggy. What a great idea to insure it would still be good. Gyro was very tasty, plenty of meat and great fresh pita chips and hummus. Will return!

New to area. While looking around for new places to eat came across this place and thought I'd give 'em a try. I have seen several mixed reviews on this restaurant but I don't hold much faith in those. Haters are gonna hate. I ordered the jumó gyro. Was made fresh by an extremely friendly lady. I thought the restaurant was clean but it looked tired. I know that takes money in these difficult times. As for for for the sandwich, it was good. Fresh tomatoes were very good. The only downside and it's not their fault is the pita bread. Wrapping it up to go is not ideal. The bread soaked in its own juices and the bread gets soggy. I would not hesitate to go back. It's appears to be a local family that runs it and I love supporting locals. Give it a try.

Last time I came here (which was my first time: around 6pm on a Wednesday) the owner took our order and was extremely friendly and informative. The food was so burning hot and fresh we could barely eat it. We couldn't wait for it to cool because it was incredibly tasty.Today however changed my mind. I went in at 1pm to place my order and eat it out in my car. I waited about 5 minutes for my gyro and fries and ate my meal about 1 minute after receiving it from the girl inside. Everything was lukewarm. Not hot, just warm. I am very disappointed! The flavor was there but it just wasn't even hot

ordered a chicken Gyro and picked it up at the drive-through. They forgot my cucumber sauce, so I called when I got home. I only live a short drive from there. The phone rang for approximately nine minutes and 30 seconds and nobody answered. Hung up, called back again and the phone rang for another four minutes and 30 seconds and I hung up again. Crappy customer service, I'll never go back.

For the second in 2 month I have tried to place an order and was told there is not enough meat. "You don't understand, we had a rush!" Was what we were told. You're right, I don't understand. One would think with a name like Gyro Time, there should be gyros all the time! I will take my business to another Gyro Location in Elyria. They were friendly and happy to accept the order!

The meat was cold and looked like it wasn't even cooked. Went there when first open was terrible thought it may be better now. I was wrong just as terrible.

I ordered a regular gyro no tomatoes and a chicken gyro no tomato both had tomatoes also ordered fries they were good. The sauce on the gyros were thick and overpowering and very salty. The pita bread wasn't warm at all. I ordered the baklava 3 dollars for 2 small pieces that were greasy and taste like coconut. Very disappointed. The only thing that was good was the fries.

Wonderful, tasty food with a great staff to match! The man who took my order was very friendly and is sure to make you laugh. I ordered a regular gyro and the cucumber sauce was amazing! I also ordered a side of mushrooms- tons of flavor packed in and a plentiful size than I expected for a small! No complaints, just awesome!
