A nice coffee shop with "around the world" themed latte flavors with each latte named after a different country or region! All the pastries are locally made and the coffee is locally roasted. Service was friendly and happy!

Delicious wraps and sandwiches to choose from. I love the fact that you can also create your own with the ingredients that you like the most! I love their chicken salad croissant with a side of potato salad, delicious! Their coffees are so good too, extremely difficult to only choose one from and their bakery is to die for! Their pecan cheesecake is so unexpectedly addictive you won't want to stop eating it!

Gypsy Beans is the perfect example of an independent neighborhood coffee shop. They offer plenty of seating inside and out. They have coffee, meals and bakery. I have never had a bad experience. Most times of the day there are several people doing work just meeting up for conversation. Being at Gypsy Bean just gives you a nostalgic feeling. They have these huge windows looking out to the street. The shop is located on the corner of W.65th and Detroit Ave. It is fun to sit, enjoy your coffee and watch what is happening outside. This is one of those places if I lived in the neighborhood I would be there every day.

The staff was rude, especially the guys that took our order. The pastry was average at best. I ordered a latte and I'm an avid coffee drinker just to add that, and the espresso shots were just burnt, the coffee was bitter as they come.

Gypsy coffee shop was super cute and unique. The staff were very friendly and answered all my questions. I ended up with the tropic which is coconut and macadamia nut. Very good. Highly recommend visiting this place next time you're in the area!

Haven't had food from here but got a flavored ice coffee and it was yummy! It's right on the Detroit Shoreway so a cute area to walk around during summer. Staff was happy to give drink recommendations.

~ gluten-free review ~Was looking for a quick easy spot for breakfast and stumbled across Gypsy Beans online. I am a sucker for a good coffee and have tried tons of places that haven't quite made it to my repeat list. The coffee here however is incredible, I just go for an oat milk latte. They do also have breakfast sandwiches with plenty of bread options including gluten-free. I forgot to take a picture but I got the Swine Fest sandwhich on a gluten-free bagel and it was really good. My gf friends will know that most bagels are so small you can barely fit one egg on it however this was a normal size bagel and the eggs were not from a can. I will definitely be coming back and making this a regular coffee spot.

Absolutely LOVE the number and creative names of latte options, and most importantly they taste great!! The menu is just as expansive, so far I've had great egg sandwiches, salads, and quiches. Staff were friendly, inviting, and patient. The atmosphere has a warm urban vibe without being overcrowded and stuffy, and the music has a fitting playlist without being too loud. My only hang up is the cultural misappropriation of the word "gypsy" in the name. In such a politically turbulent time where any culture outside of the traditional White Western norm is being targeted and discriminated against, even small, seemingly harmless, acts such as misappropriating terms like "gypsy" or "namaste" for the benefit of business are hard not to feel the sting of, especially for those of that culture. I recognize a name change at this point is highly unlikely, but for future startup businesses looking for guidance, follow Gypsy Bean's menu, services, and ambiance, but try a more considerate name.

Worthy of 5 booms. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Boom. Food was well priced and delicious. The staff was consistent and made sure we had everything we ordered, during a very large rush. Cozy with a diner sort of feel to it.
