May have new owners.If you order from here stick with pizza. I actually looked at Yelp pictures to decide what to order for take out. I first got the baked Ziti that looked nothing like the picture. A big glob of cheese that was on top was cold and under cooked. The pasta and sauce under it was something I could of spent 4 bucks on at a grocery store and made my self. For some reason I decided to give them a shot. AGAIN I looked at some pictures here on yelp and ordered an Italian hoagie (pretty hard to mess up). Not sure where they got the cold cuts from but I took one bite and threw it out. the worst part was THE PRICE!! I spent 15 dollars for a nasty sub and some mozzarella sticks. Only conclusion I can think of is that this place must of gotten new owners. So do not go by the pictures on here if they are a few years old.

This establishment has changed ownership and man it shows!!! Over the years we have placed orders and the food was always good and prepared properly. My opinion changed on February 2nd 2019 after my first visit under the new ownership. It was a Sunday and I placed an order for pizza, wings, and french fries for my family to enjoy. I set my pick up time for 2 hours from the time I called since I knew it was a busy day in general. On my arrival I walked in and gave the girl at the counter my name for pick up and she headed to the back to talk to the man cooking. Later I came to find out the man cooking was the owner and his wife was trying to help while holding an infant and attending to another little one running around. She comes back up to the counter and apologized that they didn't start my order yet. She apologized and asked me to wait so I obliged. She offered me a free dessert or a two liter bottle of pop and told me that I have a $25 in-store credit for the HUGE mistake. I took her up on a slice of tiramisu and thanked her for the credit. She told me next time I called to place an order to let them know that I had credit to use. I took the food home that I paid for and it was okay tasting. Fast forward to last month in April. I called to place an order for the family again and after ordering I told the girl on the phone that I had $25 in-store credit to use. She put me on hold and and came back to tell me that she sees no such thing in their computer. I gave her the girl's name who promised me the credit and I was told that she no longer works there. I kindly asked the girl on the phone to put the owner on the phone and after putting me on hold she came back to tell me that the owner is busy and will not be honoring the credit I was promised. I WILL NOT BE SUPPORTING GUS' ITALIAN GRILL XPRESS as long as this current ownership is in a place. Bunch of BUMS

***Update 12/1/17***So tried Gus's again and was pleasantly surprised!! I ordered bone in wings and the lady got a pizza with pepperoni. Neither of us were starving and planned on having leftovers for tomorrow, well hope we're not hungry tomorrow!!! I wasn't going to have any pizza but after the misses kept going on about it I tried a piece, then I tried 3 more to make sure! It was delicious!! I'm usually not a fan of thin pizza but this pizza is slamming!! And let's not forget the wings very tasty and they are HUGE especially for the price!! The service was great will definitely be going back!!

Wanted to get a Stromboli from here as before they were always amazing. I saw there was a Yelp free mozzarella sticks attached that I could get free with my order. I called and placed an order and was told she had no idea what that was about but she'd put in an order for it and talk to the owner about it. After that she never told me a time it would be ready just a goodbye. Odd. So we left to get the food because it's a 10 minute drive. Got there and all over the door is stickers for Yelp, TripAdvisor, and other social media services. I go in and she tells me I can have the mozzarella sticks but they don't endorse Yelp stuff. She tells me it's a new owner that has no idea what the pervious owners did and they won't be doing what they did. Seems a shame because the pervious owners had great reviews being in the social media spotlight.Back at home I cut into my Stromboli and it's packed with veggies. It's huge but there's no taste. It's the blandest thing ever made. I end up never finishing it. My boyfriend liked his pizza though. I won't be back.

I have been living on & off in Niles in Trumbull County, Ohio since August 2008 from the greater New York City area. For years I spent time & wasted money on Pizza in this area. I was so happy when my mother put me on this Pizzeria. It's the closest thing to NYC pizza this area has to offer. I love their gigantic New York Style Pizza slices & their cheese cake is very delicious. I often order pizza from this company using the Slice App. Until I move back to the greater New York City area it's all about ordering Gus' Italian Grille Xpress Pizza's.

I got the grilled chicken salad and I ordered it last night with an extra ranch and when it arrived after I paid $14 dollars there wasn't even 1 ranch. They gave me some other dressing, so if you are ordering take out, know that they forgot a lot of essentials.

I ordered a cheese burger and a regular hamburger (both were supposed to include the meat, lettus, tomato and onions), and Onion Rings, along with 2 slices of cheesecake to be delivered for a total cost of ~ $50.00 incl the tip. The burgers were nothing to cheer about, honestly not any better than a Burger King burger, just far more expensive; the meat was dry, they didn't include any onions and the tomato slice was so small and thin it was as if there was no tomato at all. The onion rings were soggy and instead of the cheesecakes I ordered, I received 2 cupcakes. I called about the missing cheesecakes and the manager did apologize and credit the cost of the cheesecakes back to my card then told me to go ahead and keep the cupcakes for free, assuring me that the cupcakes were fabulous... unfortunately the cupcakes were definitely NOT fabulous, far from it...in fact they were terrible. They had a very "imitation" vanilla flavor that was not at all pleasant and we ended up throwing them away after the 2nd bite. They really were that bad. I'm pretty bummed to have spent that much money and didn't enjoy anything at all from the entire order.
