Is it possible to give a half star??? I was being followed the entire time I was in the store. I am an out of state resident and felt SO welcomed and SO uncomfortable! Do not recommend this store if you want to be followed the whole time!!

I just visited this store. The selection of items are cute however, I do have to agree with most of the comments here. The customer service is beyond mediocre and unfriendly. The staff definitely soured my shopping experience. I was interested in purchasing some hand stitched pillows. When I asked the woman behind the counter how much they'd be, she responded with a scoff that they'd be "$180" with a tone as if I couldn't afford them. My partner and I felt like we were followed most of the time when we were in store. It made the shopping experience very uncomfortable. There are much better businesses to buy gifts from. I'm sure if you fit their target demographic, "rich white housewife" they'd be much friendlier. Overall, there's way better businesses to support than here. Come though if you're looking for judgmental looks and an oddly uncomfortable experience.

Gracylane is a beautiful store with cute things. They used to be located near Heinen's, but as of November 2016 are newly wrapped around the corner next to Talbot's.Gracylane carries selections of things I love and have trouble finding elsewhere. I come here specifically for the Dona Bela shred scarves (the ultimate gift for any stylish woman), the Vera Bradley line and Alex & Ani jewelry for the teenagers in my life, and Swarovski selection for high-end gifts. The shop is beautifully arranged. Inventory wise, it's a wonderful place to search for a lovely gift for anyone in your life ranging from your mother to your boss. They also do a nice job of packaging, though they no longer carry their gift boxes. It's easy to find a nice gift in any price range. The service in the store is consistently a little off. I don't expect much at all from gift shop customer service, but I think they've had problems with shoplifting (which is unfortunate), because even I, the most unsuspicious person on earth and $$$ shopper, am very watched and sometimes its uncomfortable. Every time I visit, there's always confusion at the register over something. More then once, I've had employees get feisty with me at basic questions. Their staff seems tired and overworked. That is also unfortunate for the experience.Frankly, I love their items. That is what keeps me coming back. I'm happy for them and their new location and hopefully this will help iron things out. Just grin and bear it!

They have some cute things- a nice selection of Alex and Ani, Pandora, along with other gifts. Almost all the jewelry is in a case though, even Alex and Ani, and they don't have enough staff to assist the customers. I was working with one of the staff to pick a birthday gift from Alex and Ani, and she was called away mid-conversation with me to help another customer. After waiting 10 minutes and being unable to look at anything or see any of the prices without help, I left. The store is beautiful, but if they want to have a personalized shopping experience and keep everything behind glass (which I completely understand), they need to have the staff on hand to make it possible.

Great gift store in the heart of First & Main. Parking is close and store is packed with lady centered booty! Went in with an open mind and just a need for Cleveland items. Staff were super helpful and found a unique item to put in a gift basket.

I love this store! The ladies who work there are incredibly kind and helpful. The boutique has a huge selection of brands I love such as Vera Bradley, Alex & Ani, My Saint My Hero, and much more!

i am a hudson resident & have loved shopping at gracylane since i was a child. however, now that i am a teenager i am treated very differently. the workers are awful. they never greet me when i walk in, but ALWAYS welcome in & have conversations with older customers. i am followed around in the store & they try to keep me away from the expensive jewelry. now, i understand the stereotype that teenagers steal, however, i the way the store approaches this stereotype shouldnt make me uncomfortable and feeling unwelcomed to the point i leave & never come back. very disappointed with the staff especially when we live in such a wonderful community. do better or get lost.

I've been to the Kent Gracylane location and had a much better experience hoping this would be the same. I walked in for the first time at the Hudson location with the intention of buying a Pandora item and ultimately was not greeted by the staff and I had to ask for help and to be sized for a ring. There was no one in the store and the women carried on their conversation at the counter. Having worked at a boutique at First & Main, I found this extremely disappointing and quite honestly unprofessional and judgmental. Quality items and a beautiful store but definitely lacking in the customer service area which is usually the most important part of the consumer experience.

I have to say that, after reading other comments, I have to agree with many of the negatives regarding customer service at the Hudson location. I must start by saying that I have found Gracylane to have a nice selection of gift items and appreciate the convenient location for shopping. I have bought a number of gifts there. I have, unfortunately made a few "even exchanges" or returns, and this where my experiences have been disappointing. I have felt belittled in the store... I was accused of wearing jewelry and then trying to exchange for size (100% not true) and was made to feel as though I was trying to scam the company by taking advantage of a promotion dishonestly (hard to do when a person has a receipt and has paid full price and not received any type of promotion related to that purchase). A snarky comment was made that I was attempting to return my items only one day shy of 30...as though day #29 was not within their 30 day return policy! Employees have smirked at each other during my experiences at the counter. Even as I shop, I have felt watched closely...sorry but it gives a weird vibe that I had some mal intent. I typically prefer giving small businesses my personal business. On the same note, I typically have found small businesses to excel in customer service. Unfortunately, with a few primary employees, it has not been the case here. Sad to say, but others that I know have shared similar sentiments about employees at this location. I have never shopped at the other locations, my comments are specific to the Hudson store. I would truly be disappointed to not shop here, considering the selection and convenience, but am definitely put off from doing so. I hope that the negatives mentioned by several individuals will result in some improvements in customer relations. There are times I have been greeted with a smile and willingness to help, but have had my share of judgmental experiences here.

I returned there with a broken item that I purchased for my sister for Christmas. I purchased the item in October but it was a brand name item that they sell plenty of. The not so nice ladies there stared at me while I browsed for the replacement and never offered any assistance until I started for the front of the store. Then she was rude about a receipt, granted probably should have had it, but it was clearly something they sell. She found the purchase on the computer, thank goodness, but did not have the replacement that my sister wanted and did not offer to check other stores and was vague, and quite frankly rude, about when and if they would get that particular one in again. She also would not refund the money even though she knew I bought it there, due to it being more than 90 days even though it was only worn for 2 weeks! I have purchased several things from here but they just lost my business. I work hard for my money and won't take it to a bunch of snotty people! The manufacturer has made up for the broken product and for that I'm grateful, but these "ladies" were rude and not the kind of people I would care to deal with again!
