I absolutely love this family owned store. They have a hot kitchen in the back. Authentic fresh puerto rican food. I love their yellow rice. My favorite is there stew chicken. Their whole rotisserie chicken is flavored. Their sweets are an added treat. Then you have the market to pick up your odds and in. I recommend this place for your needs, a definite go-to!

$25 for a dozen frozen pasteles, not bad. Friendly staff and great food, including pastelillos, rellenos de papa, pasteles, pastries, etc. Walking in here is like going back in time, and it quickly reminded me of my Latin roots. A dozen pasteles, 2 rellenos de papa, and a small bag of ice for $30. Not bad!

Amazing bakery and hot food. Enjoyed a ground beef and cheese burrito. A pastelillo pocket filled with chicken. And a wing ding. And for dessert I treated Myself to a cherry turnover. It was light, flaky and delicious. I will definitely be returning soon!

Gonzalez is NOT wheelchair accessible. Their food is consistently good especially the alcapurrias. I go there all the time, but my wheelchair can't get over the step at the front door so I have to wait outside till someone can come outside to see what I want then wait again for them to bring it out and then ring it up and bring my change. The whole process takes about 30 minutes which is a long time when you're outside in the cold or rain .
