I visited in June 2023 with a friend. Customer service was wonderful and the woman working behind the counter was friendly and helpful.I tried a donut (plain donut) which was fine. I didn't think it was anything special plus it tasted dry. My friend enjoyed the chocolate covered donut that she got which had cream inside it.Support local and come try this donut shop if you haven't already. Their sign said #1 donuts in Cleveland and now they are #1 in my donut loving heart. These are the good old fashioned classics I have been waiting for. They don't have any of the donuts labeled, so be prepared as everyone in front of you in line asks for descriptions of all the mystery donuts in the case. In spite of this, the line moves pretty quickly. The gal working was so sweet and patient with her repeated donut flavor descriptions. They do sell out of stuff, so the earlier the better. They also have coffee.

The first thing you notice is the huge line. We had heard good things about Goldie's and clearly it is a popular place. It has been on our list to visit for a while. It looks like your typical corner donut shop. The case was full of bakery items and donuts were behind the counter. It was a smaller dining area, so with the amount of people it was a little crowded.The blueberry donut was very fresh and flavorful. Unlike other blueberry donuts there were no blueberries in the donut. The Boston Cream also tasted very fresh, but did not have much cream in the center.I am not sure Goldie's would be our go to for donuts. They were good, but there are other donut shops we prefer.

Awesome service. Tried a variety of donuts and just not my jam. They are more classical/traditional style and I know tons of people love this type, but for me I did not think they were anything special. Think Becker's if you've had those. To be clear, nothing wrong with the donuts and you should check them out for yourselves. Form your own opinion as you may think they are outstanding. I just prefer the style that Vegan Doughnut Company or BigMouth serve up.

What a great little coffee and bakery! the service was spot on, very helpful and friendly. the sweets selection was amazing! I had a hard time deciding and finally choose the glazed croissant. it was light and delicious! not gonna lie, i ate every bite! I had a drip coffee that paired perfect with the sweet treat! what a great spot to sit and relax with a great sweet treat!

Run, donut walk to Goldie's newest location in Ohio City. Their latest brick and mortar is shiny and modern, contrasting with the homier feel of their Lyndhurst location. But the donuts remain the same puffy, quality bites that have satisfied East-siders for years. There was a short line on a weekday morning but the two staff members manning the front worked efficiently to stuff boxes and handle orders. Different donut flavors are in the back display case, while the more elaborate fried dough products and muffins are there to tempt while you wait in line. I appreciate that despite the upgraded digs, prices are still wallet-friendly. A cinnamon roll the size of your head for $3.50? Yes please. If you dine in and want to take advantage of the classy marble counters, there's probably room to seat about 10 people and still allow a small queue to form. Although this Goldie's miraculously does not swaddle you in clouds of fried dough smell, maybe because of the competing new furniture smell, it's kind of nice not to have that scent lingering on your clothes until you get nauseous. A final attestation to the contemporary design - the Dyson Airblade Wash+Dry in the all-gender restroom. All their donut products are amazing, so pick what speaks to you. But if you absolutely need recommendations... my favorites are the cinnamon sugar and blueberry cake donuts.

My lovely friend and I decided to stop by this bakery recently and loved it! We visited the bakery that's in Ohio City on Lorain road. They also have another location on the east side (Lyndhurst) . Just so ya'll are aware finding parking was nuts; so if your able to get a closer spot cool. We ended up parking on a side street but it was cool because it was well worth it. When we arrived; I immediately notice how cute the bakery looked inside. They have comfy chairs and a nice open view. Now for my short gals I had a bit of a struggle getting into the chair and trying to push myself in; ( no lie) I almost asked my friend to push me in as I was indeed struggling lol. I ordered a Boston Cream and maple frosted donut w/ a little cup of Hartzler chocolate milk. Everything was delicious! Yum! They have a variety of sweets to choose from and ohh I can't wait to try the rest. Our service was great! The young lady was soo nice and helpful. This is a family owned business with several generations of baking experience. Their donuts and pastry are fresh and made with love. Overall, the experience was great and I can't wait to come back for more.

Donut heaven, if one existed it is at Goldie's. The donuts are nothing short of exceptional. Simply put they are soft, decadent fluffy pillows. The service is above and beyond and the place is SO CLEAN. I can not recommend Goldie's enough and I will be back!

Very disappointed in a recent order. I ordered 2 blueberry and 2 banana nut muffins. When we cut into the muffins, they were all blueberry.Can't anyone take a simple order correctly??
