Golden Wok

I went here with my girlfriend, who has a peanut allergy. We asked our server, the manager, and this other kid worker to confirm they did not use peanuts. However, my girlfriend had a life-threatening allergic reaction, which has only ever happened from peanuts. She had to use 2 epipens and was rushed to the hospital. All after multiple employees assured us they did not use peanuts. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!

Great place for quick and yummy chinese food! The sushi has been phenomenal every time. The general tsos chicken and crab rangoon have also been delicious! My only complaint is their egg rolls are a little lack luster, but that just might be a me problem. Overall, they have become my go to for fast, easy, and delicious chinese food!

Never going to eat at Golden Wok again. I am disgusted with the fact that we got scammed there this evening. We went to pay our $43 tab with a $25 gift card and $20 with $7 in ones as a tip. Somewhere between the waitress running the gift card and the other cashier trying to run the gift card, the $20 bill went missing. Not only were they rude about the entire situation, they also embarassed us by saying we only put $7 in there. I ended up having pay the entire bill with cash because they couldn't even figure out how to ring in the gift card ‍ I don't understand how someone could accuse the customer of not paying the correct amount. Maybe whoever took the $20 needed it more than I do, however stealing is illegal and to treat a customer so rudely on top of it?!?!?!!! I will NEVER EVER support their business again!

Everything was really delicious and served quickly and fresh. One of the best Chinese restaurants in Erie for sure. I'd definitely return. ..I'll write another review the next time I visit Erie.

Looking for a great Chinese style restaurant, a relative I was visiting (I am from California) highly recommended the Golden Wok in Erie PA. So I checked the Yelp reviews-looked good. I came in for lunch with my fiance and was immediately greeted by a very polite hostess, who immediately seated us. There were others in the restaurant and in the Sushi Bar area, so I took a peak at the food. Looked absolutely delicious.I walked around the restaurant (see pictures) and found it to be very clean, including the restroom. The decor was nice giving me a very relaxed feeling. I ordered a vegetarian luncheon special ($7 each) with hot tea and a soft drink. Obviously fresh made using excellent vegetables. My fiance ordered a egg plant with brown rice-really good!Definitely worth visiting. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food is wonderful but they got very expensive after Covid. We used to love having their food delivered but it got so we couldn't afford it.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, why you may ask because you now charge a fee when u order over phone. You took over 25 minutes to even grab the take out order. The food was never good and now got my mom very sick! And I will never be going here ever again. It made me give a rating and I couldn't leave it blank this is a zero star company.

Fast delivery. I'm new to chinese and want to love it but sometimes its just OK. The sauces are very salty but the food is always delivered hot.

We have been eating take out from Golden Wok for many years but tonight was our best meal ever! We ordered sweet and sour soup, wonton soup, Singapore and House Special, Chow me fun, and pork egg foo young. The meals were delivered promptly and each dish was hot, fresh and delicious. They gave us chopsticks, napkins and utensils and of course lots of sauces. If you're unsure, give them a chance, they're a favorite in our house!
