Every time we make a trip back to YTown, we need to stop here.Family loves the meatballs and pasta and I love the homemade sausage sandwich!We had both the pepperoni and white pizza this time, and they were both amazing too!

Is it the best food ever? Nope. But it is great to support a Mom and Pop joint that serves good food at a reasonable price. We arrived early for a pre-golf meal and enjoyed the chilled schooners of Genne. My breakfast sandwich with hot peppers was unique....and my partner enjoyed the Meatball Splash (it's a helluva lot more sauce than a splash). Go enjoy the atmosphere. PS--every cop in Ytown was there---so it must be good

A must place to eat and drink anytime you're on the North side of Youngstown up on Loganway! Ice cold Schooners of Genessee Cream Ale and your choice of a great food menu; don't forget the soups and pizza too! The wait staff is always smiling and it's great to see both Ursuline and YSU represented on the walls and decor!Happy Hour starts at 3pm and Schooners are only 1.00! Can't be beat! Go Irish and Penguins!

This is an iconic Youngstown bar and eatery that first opened in 1932. Lots of local history and nostalgia here. We joined another couple for lunch today. The food was the same high quality as I remember from years ago. My wife and I both opted for the famous Jumbo chopped steak sandwich with fries, and the other couple had a meatball sandwich with fries and a pepper and egg sandwich. Each of us enjoyed our selections. Good portion size, and the food had a home cooked taste. I had an iced tea to drink today, but on my next visit, I'm going to get a traditional schooner of cold Genesee Cream Ale beer in a frosted glass!

This place is beautiful inside - excellent ambiance. Our server was Annie and she was knowledgeable and had a fun personality, she made our experience great. Food was delicious and the portions were generous. The fries taste just like Canfield Fair fries - yum! Glad this place is still around and has reopened.

Food was good and fairly priced for the portion size. The atmosphere is nice with sports playing on all the tv's so you don't miss any games! Service was good and attentive.

The food is amazing and the service is wonderful! It's one of our favorite places for a great meal and celebrating local school athletic programs. They have a great owner and staff that share the Cheers vibe "where everybody knows your name"!

Eating in is a very nice place or at the bar. Very comfortable and great staff. Food has always been pretty good compared to other places nearby

Overdone pizza. Sometimes the phone isn't answered when they are open. Not as friendly as before, unless you personally know the new (yet still related) owner.
