Golden Crown Chinese Restaurant

Ok this may just be nostalgia, but, I love this place! I've been coming here since I was a kid and I love that it's almost exactly the same. I wish you could still dine in. The place is clean. The service is friendly and quick. The prices are great. I love their egg rolls and I really like the chicken lo mein. It's been my favorite for years.

Today is and will be my last day ordering from this place. I ordered 2 soups, 1 chicken noodle and the other was wonton soup. Total cost $6.00 for a waste, they don't even give you a bag of dry noodles to go with the soups , if you want dry noodles, it will cost for that. Then to make matters worse, the wonton noodles looked funny and so did the water it was sitting in, that soup is going into the garbage and the chicken noodle might be also. I WASTED 6.00. I only had 3 small pieces of wonton soup.

Food was tasteless and the texture was very mushy with both the meat and veggies. Rice and noodles were soggy and the broccoli smelled so bad we had to take the trash bag outside. Not a good experience and will not be ordering from there again. First and last time!!!

The choices are many. Love the sweet and sour chicken. Large portions. Nice owners. Always ready quickly

Sad it's only carry out but the food here is still the best! Personally, I love the Sweet and Sour Chicken.Other folks with me enjoyed Gen Tso Chicken and the Sesame Chicken. The egg rolls and pork fried rice are tops. Still the same great food. Don't pass this one up.

Food was decent, some dishes tasting better than others. I could tell one of my dishes was cooked in the same wok as a seafood dish which is disgusting to someone who doesnt eat seafood. Maybe clean the pan after each dish or at the very least when changing from one meat to another.

As a new resident of the area, I was a first-time user of Door Dash and first-time visitor of this restaurant. Cannot comment on the service or ambiance, but will comment on the food. The Won-Ton soup lacked flavor, the Crab Rangoon was tasty, but could have used more crab filling, egg roll was good, the Orange Chicken was very good, the broccoli was fresh and perfectly prepared. Not sure what happened to the chicken fried rice, but it tasted like fish and I tossed it. Overall, I won't return.

Very consistent Chinese restaurant. Food is well prepared, especially like the orange chicken, and pepper steak. Spring rolls and fried rice is also very good. Won Ton soup may be best in Lorain.

Been going to golden crown for years. The food has always been great. The only change is the portions seem a little smaller but still tastes great.

Unfortunately my experience with this restaurant is pretty poor. I ordered about 5 things that ended up around 50$. Price wouldn't have been horrible if the food was at all worth it. There was way more rice than entree. The food was so tasteless and the crisp items were soggy. They also messed up the order and gave us an incorrect item. The togo containers were styrofoam and all it did was crack and leak absolutely everywhere. Even down to the fortune cookies they were old and stale. Definitely was not worth it.
