I've had the pleasure of taking multiple date night, and a Galentines day, classes with Hope. My fiancé and I have had fun each time and learned so much from our teacher. Hope is very patient and took the time to explain all the steps needed for our projects. We'll definitely return!

I found Gina's studio almost a year ago. I've taken wheel throwing classes, handbuilding classes, and a few workshops. If you want to learn from kind, patient and knowledgeable artists with decades of experience behind them, this is the place! Hope, Megan, Gina, and Kerie are the best!

Just an amazing place to learn and create. 12 wheels for instruction, a hand building area and more glazes than you can imagine. The instructors are wonderful handling children, novices and advanced students. Everything that one would need is there. Individual instruction, children's classes, date nights and corporate events. It is an amazing space where one's creativity can flourish.

I can't say enough positive things about the studio, the classes and workshops, Gina, and all of the instructors. They do an amazing job of making everyone feel welcome and like this skill that can be very intimidating for new students isn't impossible or out of reach. There are options for beginners and more advanced students to take classes plus one day workshops, open independent studio time and visiting artist events and lectures. The studio has a great atmosphere and there is a lot of space and opportunity to try different tools and techniques and be creative.

Gina is righteous! If you've ever wanted to give pottery a try, sign up! Gina teaches 6 week courses, one day workshops and mini-courses on wheel throwing, slab pottery and other fun topics. Occasionally she will partner with some of the other Screw Factory artists for a really fun learning experience.Pottery class is fantastic for all skill levels. Beginners get the love and help they need. Experienced potters can work on their techniques and learn some new ones. Gina is one of the coolest, nicest people you will ever meet. She's a great teacher. Prices are very, very reasonable. In the regular classes, you get 6 2-hour classes, instruction, clay, use of all the equipment and materials you will need, firing and glazing. My 11 year old daughter and I signed up for classes in January-- and we're still taking them. It's our zen-creative-decompression-fun time! Another student has been taking classes for 4 years! An added bonus is that you get to see all the cool new art that Gina is making for her pottery retail business. Each season she puts out an innovative new collection. She is also very involved in the art community, so you can find out all the art goings-on around town!

I adore Gina DeSantis Ceramics. I was welcomed to her studio about 5 years ago as a brand new ceramics student (with no experience), and I was introduced to both wheel throwing and hand building. She brings in amazing guest artists, that teach their totally unique style of ceramics. The education is incredible and supportive. I highly recommend all classes & workshops at her studio.

Gina and her crew held a fundraiser night for a local dog rescue. We got to make dog bowls. It was SO MUCH FUN!! It was also so very nice of Gina to donate her time, talent, and materials. I need to do the date night class soon! I would highly recommend Gina and her staff to everyone.

I have been to several classes at Gina DeSantis and keep going back because they are so much fun. We always ask for Hope because she is amazing! She is professional, patient and eager to share her knowledge. I am not an artistic person at all and I've managed to make some decent pieces with her guidance. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Gina's studio is a real community asset and a wonderful place to create. A great place to first learn about clay, with a lot of workshops and open studio time to keep developing as a potter. I started out in regular classes about 1.5 years ago, and afterward stuck around for independent studio and workshops. The classes are really generous with work time, and independent studio is the next best thing to having your own studio. Every single employee I've encountered has been 100% professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Recommend highly for people who just want to take a shot at pottery, and those who are more serious about ceramics as a hobby.

I attended a Sip and Spin taught by Hope with three of my girlfriends. The instructor was rude and rushed us the entire class, making our experience unenjoyable. When I called the studio to bring this to the attention of the owner, Gina DeSantis, I was screamed at and told that her employee would never act like this. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professionalism shown by the staff at Gina DeSantis Ceramics and would recommend checking out other local ceramic studios for a more positive experience.
