Yes if you go in and pick your own food but DO NOT use pickup for any produce they will get the most rotten trash to give out and then hang up when you call to get a refund. If you want sludgy vegetables and abhorrent attitude use their pick up service. It used to be good service and choices, but it has seemingly gotten worse I am unsure if it was the person who was picking the food just wanted to get rid of something gross or whatever but not okay. The girl who loaded my order was At least decently personable but the person who picked up the phone hung up on me after I said I wanted a refund and said she thought I hung up. Absolutely unprofessional.

I went this week on Tuesday to the dry cleaning services for the first time to have my uniforms all nice & prepped before I go to A school. When I brought my uniforms, I didn't know what to do- how much starch to use, military creases, etc. one of the people helping me says "Usually when people come here, they know what they want." Well, I know I didn't ask for an attitude when I'm trying to get something important done. On Thursday, I picked up my dry cleaning (speedy pickup for dry cleaning, interesting). Pickup was good. But when I went back to work to check the dry cleaning, there were a couple issues- 1.) All the clothes are pretty much wrinkled 2.) A few strings of fabric are poking out of a few of the clothes 3.) The collars on all of my blue ODU blouses were buttoned at the top causing it to crease and look bad so now I have to iron the collar down so it actually looks good. Also these blouses had military crease attached to them which I never asked for. 4.) One of the things that kinda pissed me off were the ODU trousers creased right down the middle of each pant leg which I never asked for. 5.) my short sleeve light blue shirts no longer have military creases in them which I need. 6.) one of the shirts has this black residue on it- seriously???Another recent visit to this place I got a couple of things and this cashier was in the worst mood or something and was in my way when I was try to leave with my things while she was putting new grocery bags in place. Apparently we're supposed to bags our own items which I ended up doing but the other cashier right next to me was bagging items so is the cashier supposed to bag my items or do I? It's a little bit confusing. Great job giant eagle, I'm going to consider a different, more high quality dry cleaning service next time. I don't recommend dry cleaning here to anybody so avoid it!!! The only thing that looks decent was my bravo jacket and the dry cleaned pants which has a slight indent/imperfection at the bottom of the pants.Side note: I don't know if I mentioned this, and I don't know if I'm supposed to ask to get this done but my uniforms (my dark blue uniforms) were not pressed.

Ordered catered chicken strips and a cake from this location for my son's grad party, which was this year. The chicken strips were excellent, large and juicy with great flavor to the breading. The order was ready for pickup when we arrived. The pricing on the strips is the best you'll find. I shopped around. The quality made these an excellent value. Giant Eagle makes an excellent white cake. The other flavors are good as well, but the white cake is particularly exceptional. The cake decorator was a bit off this day as when we got home and unboxed our cake, it said "class of 2019" How can this even happen!?! It's June 2018... 2019 hasn't even happened yet! What knucklehead is writing on their cakes

Giant Eagle Bakery Painesville - Just picked up cupcakes that I ordered 3 days ago for a rescue picnic tomorrow and disappointed doesn't even begin to describe how I feel. Why do they showcase beautiful desserts and then do a lazy, sloppy job on a simple 20 cupcakes. This is not at all what I expected to find when I opened the box! A reasonable person would think that they would have iced each cupcake SEPARATELY! Never again will I get anything from their bakery.See photos.

I was in Giant Eagle in Painesville to get a birthday cake for my boss. I mentioned to Donna W. that my next stop was to Party City for balloons since I would have to wait a half hour for Giant Eagle to open the florist shop. Donna W. rang me up then she took me over and helped me with balloons until the regular associate came in. She truly saved me time and money...Great Service. The bakery was quick to help as well with the cake.Billie Lou has also suggested new or sales items to me as well, I joke and call her my spirit guide because she works in the liquor section. Kristina Brown has also gone out of her way to help me find items in the store. Another great employee that went out of her way to get me a item I did not find and brought it to me when I was already in line.I truly love shopping here at our Painesville Giant Eagle. It's a great atmosphere.Kathryn

Disappointed! I bought decorated Valentine's Day cookies for my daughter, the girl at the register threw them in the bag upside down?? I included a pic, as soon as I looked at them in the car. I bought cookies like this before and the cashier went out of their way to put them in a bag she hand them to me, not so much today. And it wasn't an accident because she stacked them on top of right side up chocolate covered strawberries. Laziness know way you can tell they were hearts and frogs!!! Look at the pics

Horrible customer service, the cashiers are rude and do not help when asked. The management is another story. They do not care about any of their employees besides themselves. They think they are better than everyone else and will do anything and everything to make sure they overrule their employees. Worst store ever, management is a joke.

I still have no idea why folks continue to pay 20-30% more on groceries at Giant Eagle versus Meijer, Walmart, Aldi, etc. all to get $1 or $2 in free gas or groceries. Brilliant business tactic by Giant Eagle though.

I ordered a special cake for our grandson and the ladies at Giant Eagle in Chardon were awesome. I had a picture of a Paw Patrol cake that he wanted and they drew it up and when I picked up the cake, I was so happy. Our grandson loved his cake and was so excited. It looked amazing and tasted just as good. Awesome job ladies

I'm a loyal Giant Eagle customer and shop at the Painesville location almost every week. Because I'm currently unemployed due to illness, I rely on sales, coupons, and cashback offers to help lower the cost of groceries for my family. I typically spend hours looking for the best deals and noting any exclusions or criteria. However, I've experienced many setbacks in the last year. For starters, I used to receive my Savor Rewards every month, but I never got them this past February or March -- and there were other months of inconsistency, too. I also have issues with their mobile app not applying the coupons I've clipped to purchases I've made. This happens regularly, at least one visit per month, if not more. And just a few times, the price of an item wasn't as advertised by its sticker. If you're not careful and observant, you could be paying a LOT more than you were expecting to. It's reminiscent of a bait-and-switch situation. And whenever I *politely* complain to the cashier or Customer Service about missing discounts, I'm met with attitude and pushback and often treated like I'm at fault or dumb. Price adjustments are granted begrudgingly, which really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. One cashier even yelled at me and held up the line to teach me incorrect math. And as I walked away, she said horrible remarks about me within earshot. I have my Master's degree in Chemistry; math is not the issue here.
