Ghost Pepper Taqueria & Tequila

Terrible service. Can see what your eating lol! More like a nightclub without dancing or a dance floor.Food was...interesting and creative. Cheese sauce on the burrito was tasteless and bland. The chicken was good.The prices are not what they advertise and disclose. They don't disclose their service charges and surcharge on their menus which is a major infraction. So they charge you more than just sales tax without letting you know. Keep your eyes open. Salsa is garbage.If you get bad service and don't tip, or tip little, they will put their own gratuity on the charge. Dissapointing.Needs serious training and consultanting assistance on this one. Nice sign and nice pictures with a large bank account, doesn't quite deliver what is hoped. Has good promise. Catered to women, not an ideal place for men to feal comfortable, especially if men are paying for the drinks.

This place is great for drinks - I had the margarita flight, and they took care providing me drinks that were allergen free. They even made my drinks first before mixing others who were having drinks containing my allergens which I appreciated. I liked the food however for the portion and quality I think the price is a bit steep. I did not think that the food was particularly fresh, in fact my tacos tasted a bit stale. However, the chips and guac were great. I think I would come here again but I would go exclusively for the drinks. I would like to add that I had great service and while the restaurant is small it was clean and well kept.

I'll start this review by saying how much I love Barrio. But, my wife and I decided to give this place a try tonight. And- wow, I'd so glad we did. Every part of our meal was quality. We ordered a margarita flight ($3 off on Thursdays, I think). They were great. We ordered some chicken tacos. They were so good. The flavors were deep and the meat was very high quality. The chicken was much better than Barrio (and remember- I LOVE Barrio). We ordered chips and queso. The chips tasted freshly made. Finally, we ordered nachos. If we came back, my wife and I would consider only ordering this and margaritas. We ended up only eating half. I'd definitely recommend. We'll be back.

We saw a tik tok on how good this place is. So we decided to come check it out. It was very disappointing. The salsa was very bland. My food was so heavy handed with queso and seasoning I couldn't even taste the meat. My wife's tacos were also a let down. She had the one with the pulled pork and the pork was over cooked. She also got the grouper which she didn't even eat cause it just had a bad smell to it. The service is not the greatest. It wasn't a busy night at all and our waitress was super slow. I like the concept it's the follow through that is a let down.

Had a lovely time trying Ghost Pepper. It has a fun vibe with great decor. The space is lit with red lights and has a great photo opp.Server was good and attentive.Food was delicious. Nachos were huge!Margarita flight was delicious. Highly recommend strawberry and lemon blueberry. Yum!

Great concept, decor and tequila all behind a heavy door with the perfect peep hole. We had reservations, which was a plus, Ghost Pepper was packed. We were seated and greeted pretty quickly, drink specials were given, along with a list of tequilas. The orange margarita was delicious. We ordered the house salsa, a little bland fir my preference, but it was the consistency was authentic. We also ordered the pineapple guacamole, this however was full of flavor, great dish. We placed entree orders, which turned out a bit tricky. I opted for the Diablo shrimp bowl with rice, my husband ordered the pork tacos with the soft/crunchy shell combo...once the orders came out they were mixed up, after a few minutes the ordered were reversed and brought back out. Our entrees were okay, they were both hot, we knew that when we ordered. I guess i expected there to be more flavor to the shrimp than just searing heat, the rice was too wet so the combo just didn't work, the citrus slaw was good. As you can see, Ghost Pepper is funky, good vibe, but the lighting makes it hard to see the menu or anything for that matter. Might try again when it's warmer and the garage doors are open.

Ghost Pepper Taqueria is outstanding! The food and drinks are all made with fresh ingredients. Ghost Pepper has a large selection of good quality tequilas and every type of margarita you can imagine. I have to say the orange habanero margarita is my favorite. If you can't decide what kind of margarita you like, sweet or spicy, you can get a flight. We started off with guacamole, salsa, and chips. I have my guacamole a twist and added the bacon and jalapeño which made it even better. All of their guacamole and salsas are made fresh to order! Every dish we ate off the menu has been yummy. All of he staff is friendly, from the time you walk in with the welcoming host to seat you, our waitress, Jenna, to the cook from the kitchen! Our waitress, Jenna is the best around! Jenna is friendly, conscientious, and knows the menu. I highly recommend Ghost Pepper.

I heard a lot of good things about this place and I was excited to try it out ... let's just say, you won't know until you try. I was disappointed to say the least. It turned out to be a bust. You don't get your moneys worth here at all!!! Our burrito bowls were most Spanish rice. Not much else. The service was ok but that's about it. The chips and salsa were not good either. Flavorless. Glad I tried it. I do not recommend this place to anyone. It's overpriced and the food is bland. Super small potions too. Nah... it's a hard pass for me.

The food here was delicious, but the serving sizes are off. Tacos are street taco size and you get 2 for $9-12, however 2 is not enough, but it's crazy to spend another $9-12 to get more.....The queso with chorizo is delicious, but they do not give you enough chips for the amount of cheese, and then they charge you for extra chips (I think it was only a couple bucks but still...)The service has always been fantastic and the margaritas (flight) is soooooo good, if you don't want a flight, the blueberry lemon is super good!

We LOVE spicy food, so I had to come try the Ghost Pepper tacos. This restaurant is almost an hour away, but we so glad we make the trek. The atmosphere was very on theme and relaxed. The ghost pepper tacos with chicken had a lot of heat but perfectly balanced with cheese and salsa. Also tried the chorizo and egg taco, which was flavorful! The fried ice cream dessert was massive and perfect sweet end to a spicy dinner. I wished I lived closer!
