Game On Lakewood

Small bar with a patio. Good place to watch a sports game. Multiple tvs. Service was good. A bartender was always checking on us and they are quick. The prices are higher than your average bar for drinks. Food prices seemed ok. Didn't eat here though.

The bar was SO loud. The bass on the rap music was insane and hurt everyone's ears. We couldn't hear people across the table, or what the waiters were asking. So loud. There were only two people working the bar and cooking. The food was mediocre, and it took over an hour to get our food. Tables were dirty and we had to clean them ourselves. Maybe come when it's less busy, or on weeknights. If you want good food, this is probably not the place to go to. Overall, a pretty bad experience. Probably don't come here. We were stuck for over three hours and will not be headed back.

Terrible service. Took 1 hour to get my food and they "forgot" to put in half of my order. Then the server girls had attitude because I asked for silverware and the ranch sauce I ordered. Could you possibly do anything more to piss off a customer? ​

So excited that Game On has my favorite beer from Montana now!! Great place to watch your favorite game... bring it on with wall to wall tv's and great beer prices. Indoor and outdoor seating! Pool table and fireplace make it even better if it's not game day

Server with blonde hair and flannel shirt was so rude. Will not go back. Food was horrible and you had to wait forever for anyone to come to your table.

Best local wings around and good atmosphere- they have pool tables and all sports events.

First off, my husband and I have been here a few times previously and those experiences were ok however yesterday late afternoon, Friday April 19, 2024 was just bad. Arrived around 4pm with only one bartender on duty but the bar itself was not full. My husband ordered Hot Garlic Parm chicken wings with a side of tater tots, I ordered the Crispy Chicken Caesar Wrap with side of tater tots, Cheese Curds as an appetizer, and a to-go order of BBQ chicken wings. We specifically told the bartender not to bring the to-go order out with the rest of our food - it could wait until we are about to leave. I don't know why bartenders/waiters can't write down orders to ensure they get them right?? I mean, is it a pride thing or something? Just write it down!My husband got his chicken wings, but his side of tater tots never arrived. His wings were just dry with virtually no sauce. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I wondered if it was a dry rub but that would be weird for a garlic parm, and also we saw that there was little drops of sauce here and there so clearly wasn't supposed to be a dry rub. The wings looked old like they were from the day before or earlier in the day and then refried, not appetizing at all! My wrap was pretty bland with very little Caesar dressing. My husband thought my chicken looked old too. Oh and the to-go order arrived with our meals so our request to have it come out later was completely disregarded. We would have shared our concerns with the bartender had she cared to come check on us. My husband and I watched her attend to every one else around the bar and the pool area and several times she would be on her phone and disappear in the back. My husband and I could have drank at least two more rounds of beer in the time she took to finally come over to us. By then, although we were ready to spend more money on beer, we just decided to take our check and leave. I did tell her directly that we would have ordered more beer had she cared to check on us and this reflected in the tip we left her. Usually we are rather generous tippers and we understand times are hard, but you still have to do the job you were hired for if we are going to give away our hard-earned money. Hopefully this is a learning lesson for her.I know it can't be proven necessarily, but it's always a bad look when the only people of color in the bar can't get decent service. Our money is good and green like everyone else's and I'm sure the bar owners hired the bartender to serve and make money off of beer. Too bad we had to take our money elsewhere and with so many other options in Lakewood, that's easy to do. It was supposed to be a nice night out for us and we left frustrated and let down. A $70 check for an overall lackluster meal (including the missing tater tots) and poor service will make anyone pissed off. Btw the to-go order of wings was for my son and he even said his wings seemed off. This was really bad - I pretty certain we won't be back here again.

great place to have fun! game on is especially great for watching any sports games, there are so many tvs and they play the game sound! great service and wonderful food!

Hello, first of all this is my first time ever writing a yelp review so that speaks tremendously; but it's so sad to see a decent place go so down hill. I used to frequent game on 2 days a week for a couple beers and food and the last few times it has been disappointing. I took it as a grain of salt at first and gave it another chance. We went in tonight for dinner at the bar and the customer service was so cold. I have been in the industry now for 10+ years and am now a manager, and if I witnessed my bartenders act that way they would have been checked right away. The bartender never once smiled the whole time we were in there and I watched as she served the other guests and it was the same way. We had to track her down for refills and our check and it wasn't even remotely busy. It used to be a warm environment, especially when Jackie was there- she always greeted with a smile, which goes a distance. I also noticed they changed a lot of the food. The onion rings used to be big, now it feels like I am just getting a fried straws that were not even full onions. Portions have gone down too. Unless changes are made, I will not being going back there in the near future.

Best sports bar in Lakewood, and I will keep coming back. But... $1.50 for 2 forkfulls of Cole slaw in a condiment size container is a bit pricey.
