A wonderful small historic venue where music can be enjoyed. Performers from all around the will stop and play here for an evening during the week or on weekends. We've gone to watch bands I've never heard of and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It's a very personal connection to the performers because the hall only holds a hundred ppl or so. You can buy a beer or cocktail and for 2 hours just relax and listen. Very friendly ppl. My only reason for 4 stars is the bathrooms are in the basement. I've seen a new addition that is supposed address this problem but haven't been yet. I absolutely recommend!

This is an amazing live music venue for folk indie music and bluegrass. It is a small historical space seating about 75 at tables and 150 if only chairs auditorium rooms. Most tables were of 8 ppl and couple of 4 tops and some benches and chairs along the sides. Great acoustics. Vaccine or negative Covid test required. A nice set up of a small bar w a nice selection of craft beer, wine and sodas. A lovely experience. Parking for the G.A.R. Hall is located directly across the street on the South West Corner of Route 303 and Riverview Road. There is handicap parking located directly in front of the G.A.R. Hall. Alternate Parking can be found 1 block away at the old Yellow Creek Trading Company. Or at Riverview Court (old Ohio Hardwoods) on the Southeast Corner of the intersection of Route 303 and Riverview Road. Parking in Peninsula is always tight so consider car pooling if coming w friends. Can't wait to return!

Went here last night for the first time to see The Brother Brothers. The venue is very small but charming though a little cold in winter.

This is a very nice place to enjoy live music. It has a very comfortable feel and the acoustics are very good. The audience is seated at tables of various sizes and there is no reserved seating so if you are a group of 4 or 2 it is possible that you may be seated with other people. There is a caterer that offers a limited selection of food items and premium cookies. We did not order anything but I have heard that everything is good.

I LOVED THIS PLACE. We were first time visitors and came to see the Jacob Joliff Band. I loved the setup of tables everywhere, the full bar and the raised stage. Being that the building is so old, there is a lot of character to enjoy. The acoustics were very good, and they dim the lights nicely so you could thoroughly enjoy the show. We didn't order food, but you can go downstairs and order and then it is brought to your table. They talked about having pancake brunches when the weather gets nice which would be fun.I would definitely return as they have lots of good acts coming up and the prices are reasonable.

You can't go wrong with this spot. They have music one or two nights a week typically. There's a bar available for drinks, most cocktails and a few wine selections. Occasionally they'll have specialty meals available. Otherwise you can bring your own picnic. We usually pack up a small bag with a couple Waters, some snacks, and if you're particular about what you're drinking you can bring that too. Although usually we have one of the wines that they put out. The prices for drinks are reasonable. The venue is very small, with limited seating. You do have to go down a flight of stairs for the toilets. And there's only one of each so aligned can develop during breaks. They have an outdoor Sunday brunch, with a musician during the summer which is lovely. There's parking across 303 in the gravel lot. The musical acts are always amazing. I really don't even bother to research who they have on the calendar. They do such an amazing job of selecting musicians.... I know I'm going to enjoy myself no matter who's playing. This is a nonprofit organization, and they put their heart and soul into bringing in amazing musicians.

Wonderful old one-room schoolhouse now an intimate venue for concerts and speakers. Very nice homey feeling. During concerts simple foods and drinks are offered for a fee. Enjoy a glass of wine during the performance. Casual. Relaxed. Very nice. Parking.

Drove here from Cleveland to see Mipso! Such a great show. Got to meet each of the members. The atmosphere was great. The building is super old and reminds me of old English buildings. Fantastic venue for this type of show!

Very neat intimate venue. However they have many sold out shows that could probably have accommodated many more while keeping that feeling. I wished there was a small space set aside for standing and dancing. The Irish bluegrass band we saw would have been perfect for dancing! The bar selection was HUGE and the employees were friendly. I'm excited to see more shows here.
