Fun house is always a staple when visiting friends in Cleveland. No food served but drinks are always on point. Never a bad drink. Now about the bar it's self... this place is a carnival and always has fun crazy things going on; from the coffin in the basement, to old school carnival games and a very themed atmosphere this place will always surprise you.

I was there yesterday We always bring 6 to 10 ppl. We order We tipBut I noticed that Riley and Kim never checked on us unless we called them over and then was not friendly at all. I'm in the industry and this should not be allowed. Then we noticed that our glasses stayed empty. But everyone around us had service but we didn't. So I feel like there was an issue with my skin color. Then I noticed when we played music on the juke box, the volume decreased, but when the hard core music was playing you could barely talk to one another. So I felt it in my conscious to let ppl know that ppl of color seem not be welcome there and I'll never return. We looked forward to going there, but never ever will I be treated like I don't exist when we're spending too.

Went to Cleveland for the first time and had a friend recommend this bar. Fun drinks and a fun, haunted circus theme complete with an empty coffin downstairs, games, skulls and a mechanism to shatter your beer glass! A really fun vibe with a lot to keep you entertained with good prices.

Unless you are a hardcore dive bar traditionalist, I don't not know what you could ask out of your dive bar that Funhouse does not provide. It's dark, it has a jukebox, and it has bar games aplenty (skeeball!). There is a coffin in the basement. Alas, several arcade games are still out of commission, probably from antiquated notions of how coronavirus is spread.Drinks are priced like it's 1996. You can add house mixers like lemonade to create-you-own semi-fancy cocktails with Tito's or Bulleit. There's an assortment of $2 (!) beers. The crowd is exactly the batch of fun weirdoes that you'd hope to see when you spot the place from outside. It's a range of ages and styles (although tends a bit goth), and--really--cast members from a local Wizard of Oz production showed up in costume towards the end of the night.Funhouse is too small to get that crowded, so the service and turnover were actually pretty quick despite full house (or COVID-era full house, anyway). We got the bill and almost laughed at how affordable it was. I don't mean to be hyperbolic, but I'm not sure if we're looking for after-dinner drinks in future visits to Cleveland that we have any reason to go anywhere else.

We stopped in shortly after they reopened. What a super fun hole in the wall bar. Their happy hour specials were amazing, especially for being right in Cleveland. They had a ton of plastic and things up to keep everyone socially distanced (and air filters). No draft beers right now. The basement has a coffin by the bathrooms

Welcome to the Twilight Zone!! This place is awesome! I was missing the alcoholic slushies they have in New Orleans and this is the only place that I could find that had some so I had to stop in.First when you walk inside it's like a punk rock circus/carnival. The walls are painted red and white stripes and have skulls everywhere. The first thing you see when you walk in the door is one of those old fortune teller machines. They also Have other awesome games like whack a mole, ski ball, different types of video games, pinball machine,a photo booth, and a claw machine. Their claw machine is awesome and hilarious. The prizes inside our old T-shirts from when used to be "The Spitfire" , Fanny packs, skulls, a rubber rat, cans of Vienna sausages, and a more. They also have a fun house mirror and a coffin for posing and picture taking. Also One really cool thing that I really really appreciate is they have plugs to charge your phone at the bar where you're sitting. They have all different types of slushie combinations with different flavors and whatever type of alcohol you want in it. I only had the classic slushie but they have some pretty outrageous slushie options. The next time I go back I would definitely order doubles because in comparison to New Orleans slushies these are not very strong but that's New Orleans so you can't really compare. But the main reason I came was for the slushies. Another cool thing is they have a lot of Ohio craft beers on tap which is awesome. Probably 75% of the beers they had on draft were all Ohio craft beers. My only real issue with the place is the food. They have a cotton candy machine, popcorn machine (free popcorn), soft pretzels with cheese, and corn dogs. The thing is the pretzels and the corn dogs are microwaved and that's just kind of gross. They do warn you on the menu that they are microwaved so I appreciate that but I just kind of feel like the popcorn and cotton candy is enough. I would just rather bring food in if I wanted something to eat. Overall this was a super fun experience that my friend and I had and I will definitely be back.

What an awesome discovery! As I was cruising around Cleveland, I got on Yelp to look up nearby bars and was super excited to discover FunHouse. There couldn't be a more perfect bar for me and finding this place really made my visit to Cleveland even that much more awesome. Funhouse is a carnival themed bar that is dimly lit but is filled with bright colors. The instant I walked in the doors, I felt right at home. The walls are painted with thick stripes and decorated with big images of skulls and circus "freaks." There are fun circus/carnival decorations everywhere. My favorite part of this bar is the adventure down to the restrooms. They are located downstairs and to get there, it feels as though you are walking through a fun house (hence the name). Once you get downstairs, you are blown with a loud shot of air and there is a coffin awaiting. The bathrooms are painted with bright colored stripes too.The drink menu is also really fun! They have some crazy drinks including things like Sno cones, cotton candy and other candies. Their drink prices are actually quite cheap and the bartender was really cool.If I lived in Cleveland, this would definitely be 'my' bar.

It's fun but the orange crush was too much of a college drink for me. I should have opted for the white claw

Not sure what hard core music is... They seem to play some metal there and some hard rock, not so much death metal or grunge metal or satanic metal that some would say is on the lighter side compared to genres like gangster rap going to kill your entire neighborhood and families because you live on the opposite coast of the country, so if you were referring to the hard core music that you are offended by, please be more specific. And if ya u dont like metal, I guess u should no go to metal bar for fun time if not for u. From what I observe on one busy Saturday night, they accommodate to all types of races, religions, sexes, mammals that are mature enough to wait patiently for a libation without getting their dry panties in a bunch

BEWARE !!! Pay with cash if you go here the bartenders will up charge you after you leave. I bought one drink there last night that totaled $9 with a $2 tip. The strawberry blonde girl who served me ended up charging me $25 when I checked my bank. I think that's super messed up and illegal. I love going there but with how many times it's happened to my friends and I there's no point in drinking there at all. And to the manager, you got my name now check the receipt
