What a great little find. I purchased a macchiato. The presentation was OK. The flavor was OK a little acidic. I need to try another drink on a different day to really give a accurate review of their coffee. If I was reading just my macchiato it would be a two or three. if I'm reading the staff, it would be a five, reading the interior. It would be a five. They have free Wi-Fi. They make all their own simple syrups here which is amazing. They make sandwiches and different little food options along with some sweet treats. it looks like this may be connected to some type of ministry which looks amazing. It's called South Street ministries so they offer a lot of support to people. It looks like they have a private room within the coffee shop that could be used for little group meetings or private meetings.

This is a really cute place. The size is surprisingly large and spacious. The furnishings and the tables are setup so that you can have small or large groups with if being forced into other people's conversations. There is indoor and out door seating. There are some attached shops as well for those so inclined to need to shop for nick nacks. You will place your order at the counter. There menu seems to rotate, but their pastries and muffins are consistent. Top tip here, they do mini-muffins, 2 for a $1.00 and they are amazing. Zucchini, chocolate, better breakfast, cranberry orange.... And they are not small.Service is great and friendly. It is a little unassuming from the outside, so worth looking for.

This is a great place to grab a salad or sandwich for lunch. It doesn't have fancy decor, but it is a part of South Street Ministries, and it's purpose is to train and connect unemployed and underemployed men and women from the recovery and reentry communities to transition into employment in the food service industries. My favorite lunch is the half size Cobb Salad, which is always fresh and delicious

The Front Porch Café is a great place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch without compromising food quality. The staff is committed to outstanding service. It seems like your coffee cup or water glass is never empty because they are there offering a refill. Because it is so close to the expressway It is easy to get to. It is a short drive from Ellet, North Hill, Fairlawn, Firestone Park, Downtown, Goodyear Heights, just about anywhere in the Akron or it's suburbs. I eat there at least twice a month.Did I mention that they offer carryout lunches?

I have eaten lunch here a number of times with friends from The University of Akron. Easy to get to from the university and easy to park. We all love the Mission/philosophy of the local eatery and the staff is always very friendly. Diner type food is predictable but very good. The half size salads are very generous. Worthy of a visit for sure.

My friends and I go here since it's close to campus and offers a place we can have coffee, great food, and a cozy place to study all at once. The staff is extremely friendly and greet us like family every time we enter, and always make sure we have refills on coffee when we're there. The food is wonderful and very affordable, never sacrificing quality for speed of service or convenience. With a focus on neighborhood support and commitment and a convenient location just off the expressway, Front Porch is definitely one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places in Akron.
