Frogtown Johnnies

I have been here 3 times. We have always sat at a table and we have always been the only ones sitting at a table. It is unclear weather there is table service even though we have recieve it. The 1st time was fine. The 2nd time the bartender was all smiles to the men at the bar but when she came over she was stone face and just was "do you need anything " well yes that's why we're here. Made us wonder if we were supposed to go to the bar to order. I ordered wings which didnt mention coming with anything on the menu but she asked do you want fries or tots? She led me to believe fries came with my meal and then charged me for them. Today we came in, ordered drinks and then when she came to take our order we ordered shots also. The shots never came we had to ask again. The food came out and both of our orders were incorrect. My husband was supposed to have fries but got tots and I was supposed to have hot wings. She never came back to the table until my husband was done and I had 3 wings left. I just asked for the fries and a side of hot sauce. She brought out the "hot sauce" it was French dressing. The fries took at minimum another 20 min. We were there TWO HOURS. The food is great but seriously not worth the hassel. No discount or anything for the shit show that happened. Then on the receipt they have the audacity to recommend tipping 20- 30%. She was lucky to get the 18% I left. I recommend trying to write down the order when you take it if you can't remember a goddamn thing. Last thing was last week when we went I was charged $6 for my drink which I thought ridiculous and this week I was charged $4.

Our go to place for drinks and to watch a good game. Great bar food and when a big game is on, they have projectors available. Our #1 bar to go to.

I know that finding help is hard. I've been coming for a very long time. Tonight it's taking forever for a drink, food, and just trying to get my check. I have now been literally sitting here to get my bartender's attention, but he is too busy/indifferent and it's not busy at all. Find somewhere else to go if you actually want service.

Pretty ordinary food, kinda dirty. Beer could have been colder. Friendly staff moved it from 2 to 3. Everyone has a bad day, would try again.

Alright so here is the deal... I've been searching for the best service around town, and I found exactly that at frogtown johnnies. Carmen and Bob were by far the best waiter & waitress their. Carmen makes the most excellent popcorn while Bob serves the best alcohol. Thank you will be back

Head shef Chuck does not care about customers. The bartender told him our food was to go and sauce was on the side. The food sat in the window for 10 minutes because they they did not put it in to go containers. They brought it to us on a plate and I asked that they reheat it before we go.When we got the food it was burnt and the sauce was not on the side... The bartender Chad was so nice and went back to the kitchen to ask what happened and the chef Chuck argued with him. At that point I canceled my order. The assistant kitchen manager Shai came out and apologied and gave us a gift card which i tried to decline but she insisted. Now the aggressive chef Chuck just brought us out a replacement meal and said the bartender brought us the wrong food which was a lie. I am leaving it on the bar and not taking it home.. I don't trust his judgment on replacement food. We had taco bell for dinner.... But I have to say the service at the bar staff was incredible.

I thought this was going to be a fun place to hangout but I was wrong! The staff here is very immature and clicky! I came here to enjoy some drinks with a friend and was surprised to hear I was talked about! I think the owner needs to do a better job at teaching his employees they are here to work and not make friends! No bartender should be telling other people someone else's business! Do not recommend if you want to keep your life details private!

*NEW Owner* (as of 2022) - New Menu - New Tv's - some new staff members too. Even a new sign. It's all for the better! Burgers are awesome but they also have pizzas, gyros, chicken wings AND MORE! FULL BAR plus beers on tap. Lottery, pool tables, dart boards, outdoor patio area.

Extremely slow service. I don't know what it is but unfortunately all the younger bartenders seem to take 45 minutes to get me a drink. I would've gotten dinner and another drink but the bartenders never even came over to us so when she finally came over we just got the check and she acted really confused.

*MUST TRY* Food Menu and cooks are consistent and I've never been disappointed in almost 2 years of eating here. New specialty cocktail menu monthly, great specials on food/drink. Bartenders are kind, quick and ready to help. If I could rate 6 I would.
