Everything was excellent! The complimentary bread was soft and served with a super yummy garlic butter. I tried a few of the mussels someone ordered and I wish I had my own plate, absolutely divine with the fratello sauce. I started with a house salad. The dressing was great! I usually don't like when it comes dressed already but it was the prefect amount. My chicken parm was a huge portion and absolutely delicious, they have great sauce. I will say the "bolognese" sauce I got on my pasta wasn't traditional more just a meat sauce but still good. I would try the arrabbiata next time. Everyone enjoyed. The portions are huge and reasonably price. Wine was good, a decent poor and also very nicely priced. Our server was kind and attentive. Water glasses were never empty. They had a few specials that sounded great! Would definitely return.

Today we had lunch at Fratello's. It's been almost thirty years since we ate there. Could it possibly be the same owner? I enjoyed Veal Parmigiani, the best I've had in a long time! My wife enjoyed Shrimp Fratello. Amazing it was still on the menu after all these years, but it is, and she loved the large thick shrimp. We found the restaurant a little dated but had no reflection on the quality of food that came out of the kitchen.Prices were a little upscale, but I just can't say enough how great our lunch was today!

My friend and I had decided to meet here for dinner as neither of us had tried it previously. Well, it turned out to be a great decision! Fratellos is inconspicuously nestled in a small building that sits at the intersection of Electric Blvd and Lear Rd and is easy to locate.Upon walking in we were immediately greeted by friendly staff and promptly seated in the main dining area. The interior is intimate and has a soft ambiance. Our server arrived with menus and exhibited a friendly demeanor with a smile. The menu is expansive and offers a plethora of choices; soup, salad, pasta, chicken, veal, fish, and shrimp. After carefully looking over the menu, I decided on the puttanesca - a classic dish of spicy marinara sauce with anchovies, capers, and olives! Complementary warm fresh bread was brought out with housemade butter and it was superb, with crispy edges a soft center. A mixed green salad was also included and had a pleasant vinaigrette that wasn't too tart. When my entree arrived it looked terrific on the plate and tasted even better! The sauce was smooth but not too heavy, with a subtle anchovy taste that paired well with the capers. Fratellos checked off another box for excellent Italian food in the Cleveland area, so if you haven't tried it then you're long overdue!

Love , love , love Fratellos . My wife and I have been going for years and it feels good to support a local restaurant . The food and service is spectacular!. Ron the owner takes great pride in his restaurant and it shows . If you are looking for an upscale , eclectic experience , Fratellos is not your spot , however, if you are looking for great Italian food and a wonderful experience then Fratellos is your place . We have been going for 20 years and can't wait for the next time . Veal , shrimp or chicken fratello is to die for !

Service here is less than stellar. I took a business associate here for dinner mid week and everything seemed too much trouble for our waiter. Disappointing service and surprising as this place is frequented by a good number of local people! It's usually pretty busy on weekends from I have seen. Food is just average - nothing special. The outside is nothing to look at and the building is buried at the end of a small strip in Avon Lake dotted with bars and residential homes. Decor is kind of old school (dark with lots of amber lighting) and the place does give the feeling of a warm Italian setting. Hopefully they will strive to do better!

Super Italian family restaurant that was good in every way. Girl friend and I stopped in ten minutes until closing. The waiter said that he would give us a couple of minutes to look over the menu. I learned the Fratello family sauce is a buttery lemon. Lots of dishes included the Fratello sauce. Some dishes used a marinara. You can ask for Alfredo. My girl friend lived nearby and knew the menu. We ordered the lightly fried artichokes. I've never had artichokes like these, and they were delicious. They had a light crisp with a soft inside. I had the shrimp Fratello, substituting zucchini for the pasta. The lemon butter sauce was rich and fabulous with a nice lemon flavor. The shrimp in the sauce was refreshing. The eggplant parmigiana was large, and my friend took half home. The warm bread with the house butter was mouthwatering. This restaurant was great. So glad we stopped. The old wooden bar is attractive when you walk in. The front door looks like a house door, no glass. Check hours before you come.

The sit down service was awful. Took my wife out for her birthday. Ordered appetizers and dinner, the appetizers came out and then my wife's and sisters food was served but mine was not. I waited 50 minutes and then finally went to the counter and cancelled my dinner order. They spend more time doing carry-out than they do servicing the people that are sitting down. the waiter screwed up the orders because he barely spoke any English. The food, that we received was good though.
