Grilled cheese/chips is 1.25 more than with fries?!!?
Sad. They should be making onion rings homemade.

I was with a group of six that came in for breakfast. The service was very prompt and friendly. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

I drive by this place once/month and have always seen a packed parking lot, so I decided to stop in and give it a try.Orderd biscuits and gravy with a side of scrambled eggs. Took a while to come out of the kitchen, but that was to be expected with the crowd. The order of biscuits and gravy was HUGE! And delicious! Maybe the first time I didn't have to ask for more gravy. A bit more sausage in the gravy would have bumped this up to 5 stars, but it was very good.Service was very friendly and all the girls seem to work well together and tend to all of the guests. Coffee was just okay.

3rd times a Harm. Fool me thrice shame on me! Another lousy visit to this place that the in-laws take us to, Only because they used to live right down the street. The food here is just low quality and poorly prepared. All 4 of us had some discontent. I expected this so I merely ordered small & simple.. egg sandwich on Rye w/ cheese. The bread was burnt and it was Wheat! It was made w/ a single egg and had I'm sure an American cheese single by the fact it had all melted and ran onto the plate. Quite a disgrace. In-law's poached eggs were over cooked & not runny at all. Wife's omelette was overcooked on the outside to point she had to eat out the center. Kids egg muffin had half the egg "disc" hanging out which got dried out & plasticized which became inedible. Obviously they can't cook eggs correctly. All of them got hash browns which were kinda burned in some spots then unbrowned on the rest. Plus there was only 1 other table in there yet it took about 16-17 mins. And then the poached eggs came out 5 mins after ours! So I was done w/ my sandwich before hers came out. Won't make a 4th mistake here!

This was my second time here for breakfast. It's a little greasy spoon diner, kind of out in the middle of nowhere. Staff is friendly and food is reasonably priced.Today I got a cheese omelette. The menu has choices of American or Swiss, so I chose Swiss. I also added onions and cheddar to the hashbrowns because they were pretty bland last time. The "Swiss" turned out to be white American cheese. I asked the waitress about it, and even heard the other waitresses talking about how it's not really Swiss. I apologized and told her could not stomach it. She apologized and said she understood, even offered to have something else made, but I politely declined because the bite I took turned my stomach. When we got the bill, she didn't not take anything off. I was surprised but didn't argue about it. I hate to sound so picky but it was kind of a bummer. I suggest they change it on the menu. It's not a bad place to go for a cheap bite to eat, but in terms of quality, you get what you pay for.

This restaurant is the best kept secret in Columbia Station, OH! Owned by one of my student's family, I promise you won't get a better breakfast for the price! We had excellent service this morning it was just what I was craving. I highly recommend the Southern Platter- you get 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, hash browns, toast, and 2 sausage/gravy biscuits for under $9. So many great options and they serve breakfast all day, lunch and dinner!

Ok, try this .... American cheese is your only option. Bacon is DEEP-FRIED! How do you screw up bacon? We stopped for a weekend breakfast. We thought we should give it one more try after a bad breakfast a few months ago. That was a wrong choice. All I ordered was bacon and eggs with toast. As a bacon lover, I always finish the bacon .... but not this time. YUCK! Over easy eggs were ok, but if I wanted cheese, the only option was American. Why? Breakfast sandwich for my wife had a very weird taste. She didn't finish it and had an upset stomach the rest of the day.Take our advice, either make eggs at home, visit the Hungry Bear in Litchfield, or wait until later in the day and have a great salad or wings across the street at Bootleggers.
