Fisher's Cafe & Pub

This cafe in a ramshackle gathering of buildings is a great option in Peninsula. People were gathering for the clambakes, but as a native Long Island girl, I thought Peninsula a little too far from the shore to venture down that critique. Instead I reached for the pig, in this case a pulled pork number that delighted my tongue with texture and a tangy sauce. Mom ordered her typical litmus test for a new joint, the patty melt and was satisfied. Service was a little slow with what appeared to be kitchen issues but hey, we all have an off day. The food was worth the wait.

Updating my review. After my initial visit, I've been back a couple of times. I find myself looking for a reason to come out or meet a friend here. Great fries, we also had the fried mushrooms (a bit expensive). The burgers are amazing! And as always, the fries are phenomenal!

Fisher's is a great spot for a quick lunch in the heart of Peninsula. I like most things on the menu, and it's perfect right after a hike or a bike ride. This time, I got the Prime rib and Onions and mushrooms sandwich (pub style) and a cup of the chicken noodle soup. They were both filling and tasty. And not too expensive! Service is great too.

I had lunch with a friend and tried this sandwich. It was good and came with onions, mushrooms and cheese. The bun was good and fresh but there was not as much meat especially considering the price. The steamed vegetables were excellent. They were fresh and there was a good mix of them. Service was okay, we had to get our servers attention a couple of times. This is a restaurant for beer and food so there is not much ambiance which is fine with me.

Traveling through and tried this place. Place was busy with the space between seating crowded. Loud atmosphere. Ordered french dip with my wife ordering the BBQ sandwich. Food was OK. Fries were not real hot. the Mt Dew had a very different taste. Was fairly disappointed with food.

Family owned for 65 years - we were told this restaurant has been run by 4 generations. The restaurant is older than Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The service was exceptional and the food was fantastic. Don't skip dessert!

We went on A very busy Saturday, but the service was amazing. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. They went over everything on the menu. I ordered the Cowboy Burger and my lunch wife ordered the wings. Our food was delivered fast. It was delicious and warm. We highly recommend trying the wings. They were perfectly cooked. The burger was cooked to perfection.

Took the CVSR railway up from Akron and stopped in before I began my bike ride. The deviled eggs were delicious and lobster bisque smooth and tasty. The deviled eggs were topped with a honey bacon jam. Definitly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat. Just note that that they stop serving breakast on the weekends at 11 which is the same time the train gets in so youll probably miss bfast if trying to catch it after getting in on the train.

Great spot to have breakfast, lunch or dinner,They have a nice patio to relax on and an outside bar for a quick bite to eat and a drink after coming off the trail. Serivce is good but a little slow because of how busy they get.

I got 2 To go cups of ice cream and gave a cash $2 tip and automatically charged me a credit card fee without anything posted at the register!!
