Fionas Coffee Bar And Bakery

This place has a good vibe to it - on a cute street in Willoughby with that coffee shop ambience...what was a bit annoying is that you had to BUY something in order to get the WiFi code which I have never heard of. The English breakfast tea was recommended to me by the cashier and it was mid tbh. The coffee looks a bit "fake starbucksy" but I guess I can't judge because I didn't try it.Overall I don't reckon I'd come here again and will stick to other local coffee joints - who knows where the wind will blow me though.

The coffee is good, the food is fresh and relatively healthy, though I've never had any of the pastries so I can't speak to the baked goods. But the bagels are fantastic. The ambiance is the main thing; this is the only place in town where I can focus and get any work done. I come almost every day that I'm in town!

I mostly like the place and ambiance. It's spacious and suitable for work or conversations. The location on the corner of the street is great. The service is friendly and fast. The bakeries are not always fresh but the bagels are great. Finally the coffee is good.

I came to Fiona's about two weeks ago because I wanted to give it another try since I like supporting local and have been a Willoughby native for over 20 years. I'll start with my experience from two weeks ago: Lines were super long but did move relatively quickly, I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and a blueberry muffin. One of the baristas offered to put honey in the drink for me which I agreed. Worst decision ever. I thought it would be good but ruined the whole drink it was nasty and I am a matcha lover. I would never get that again. So fast forward to me getting home and opening up the bag to eat the blueberry muffin.. it had raw dough on the outside and I opened it on the inside to check and the inside was raw!! I'll attach pictures. Gross!! I did call them and they offered me something else which was kind so I went back and got the mini muffins which are good. That's where the second star comes in. Now fast forward to last summer, I had ordered a drink and sat down with a friend. My sister had come in so I had paid for her drink but she ended up leaving. I went back to sit with my friend. A few minutes later, the older lady with gray hair (that another yelper had mentioned) came up to me and my friend and looked me in the face and said in a mocking tone "Honey, the next time you come in here and say your order is to go don't sit down in here because the owners are watching you on the cameras." I was so embarrassed and appalled that she spoke to a customer like that regardless and was so accusatory. I explained to her that I had paid for my sister's food who left but had ordered food to sit in here with and paid the tax to sit in here. I think she knew she messed up because a few minutes later brought us cookies on a plate. I thought I was the only one who got treated this way but saw another yelper say they experienced the same thing happen to them after it had happened to me. Will not be returning. 2 stars is generous for this establishment. Kind owner but may not be aware how customers are being treated.

We love Fiona's! Located in beautiful Downtown Willoughby. My family and I have been here a few times. Their location is cozy and cute. They have a room in the back where you can hold a meeting, a gathering, etc.Today was a beautiful day to be out. My hubby and I decided to sit outside. I had their lavender honey iced latte. The latte was ok... It had more of the thick honey flavor vs lavender. I love Lavender flavor and it's big during spring. To pair with my iced latte, I had an onion bagel with cream cheese. Their bagels are delicious. So, I give that a two thumbs up!

Coffee was ok. Food was kind of mediocre. Kind of loud. If you're looking for a quieter place I'd go a couple doors down and check our Arabica.

My father, and I, and our friends have been going to Fionas for several years now. We don't cause any issues, and we stick to ourselves and drink our coffee. Today my father was informed by Megan that he and his group have been banned from the coffee house because he "makes people uncomfortable" No idea where this suddenly came from as like I previously stated he and I have been going there for literal years. If this is how they treat not only paying customers, but RETURNING paying customers, then you won't be in business long.

Traveled to meet relatives. Looking for local coffee shop. First time @ Fionas. Local, good coffee, local baked goods. Good service. Nice atmosphere, Enjoyed!

I am an Ohio University student & Willoughby native! I came here today on my Spring Break to get some work done, and ordered a lavender lemonade. The drink was okay -- a bit pricey for what you get in my opinion. The atmosphere inside is nice. Lots of natural lighting with a rustic feel. I was, however, taken back when I was approached by one of the employees. While the girl who took my order was kind, this older lady accused me of loitering in the establishment, saying I needed to "buy something or go somewhere else"... This is all while I have a drink clearly sitting next to me, and tipped them $5 on my $6 drink. Her tone quickly changed after she realized how silly she looked. She tried to take it back and even ask me if I had liked what I ordered, but the damage was already done. I am not sure if she just wanted me to leave, or if she wanted to embarrass me. Regardless, I will not be returning. There are other amazing coffee shops in DTW and the surrounding areas -- go spend your hard eanred $$$ elsewhere!
