Heard about this place for years but it never peaked my interest. No frills, looks outdated, in locations I just do not frequent...But I wanted good fried fish. Period.I kept getting referred here.So I called at 6p, knowing they closed at 7p to place my order. Pickup only, this is not a restaurant but a fish and seafood market.Wait, the kitchen was already closed and there was an hour backup/wait.So... I had high expectations.Boy oh Boy, did they deliver!Delicately battered Basa and Crispy Cajun Cornmeal crusted Orange Roughy! Mac and cheese was cheddar cheesy... Close slaw was perfect and Okra was not slimy!!!!Lemon pound cake was dense and delish!Yep, found my new fish spot...even though they have been here since 1974!!! Should have known they were doing something right!

Food was fresh & hot customer service was great. Facility was clean & organized. Prices were understood. Overall 10/10 if i could!

We have used Farm House Foods for many years for our clam bakes. The food is great. The clams ALL always open and the directions are perfect!

Love this place the broiled salmon and scampi are so bomb....yummy....great customer service...I do recommend checking your order before you leave!!

Totally appreciate the effort they are putting in to ensure their customers are practicing social distancing! They have a police officer outside working the flow of people(this was a Saturday) and only 3 people in at a time, hand sanitizer on the counter. Now on to the food. Haven't had it in years but it did not disappoint. Catfish fried hard, scampies, hush puppies, spaghetti and Cole slaw. Spaghetti could use a little something but when the rest is that good it doesn't matter much. It's seafood, it's hot and it's good! Prices are about what you would expect for what your getting. Somehow they have convinced the public that 4 hour wait times are acceptable. Though the employees are helpful and courteous 4 hour wait time isn't the industry norm. Do yourself a favor and purchase fresh fish from here and take it home and cook it yourself. The cooked food is take out only and the fish is well cooked but there are plenty of busy restaurants that can deliver a great product in less than 30 minutes with the same quality. If you don't work, can't cook or just don't value your time wait here.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars because my Cajun shrimp was too salty next time I won't get Cajun my husband got the catfish it was excellent season just right

A very good place to get fish. The employees are friendly and very helpful. From my visits they are very patient with the customers
