Fantasy Candies

We were here for one of their wine tastings. Very thorough for such a small event! It's a hidden gem. Their explanations for each wine was great, and their cheese and cracker spread was great, too. One little thing, their candy pairing for the wines wasn't exactly on point. But that might be personal preference. Some other patrons seemed to enjoy the candy greatly. The candy section at the front of the place looks amazing, too. Looking in to stop by for some candy in the near future.

Waited a few days to post this review because unfortunately it was a very bad experience. Not sure if there is new ownership or a change. The disrespect and arrogance of the young man who was giving me trouble was disappointing. I walked away from him thinking someone else who I always see might be a friendlier experience. Surprised he followed me to other side of the store to make sure he stated he was the owner. We have been regular customers (2-3 times a month) for years. Sad to be leaving this place.

Came for a wine and chocolate tasting and left with a bag of chocolate covered pretzels and gummy bears. Great place to pick up a gift or a treat for yourself -- wide selection of chocolate, candy and wine.

Very large assortment of chocolate bars, gummies, various hard candies and caramels, fudge, and truffles. Very friendly employees. Wine selection as well. Not terrible prices for gourmet chocolate.

I thought perhapa I had been too harsh in my assessment and decided to give another chance. Nope. Same level of service. Just very unfriendly. I guess I'm just not welcome there.

The first thing you notice when you walk in the door of Fantasy Candies is the magnificent smell. It smells of all things chocolate and sugar. This was my first time visiting Fantasy Candies and I was impressed by the selection of options you could choose from. Not only do they sell candy and chocolate but they also had a large selection of wines from near and far. I was lucky enough to get to participate in a chocolate and wine paring event in the store. There is a small portion in the back of the store where the tasting occurs. Each wine had a specially selected chocolate to go with it. You could tell a lot of thought went into these pairings. In addition to their and pairing events, they also sell their products online.

Really fun store!I brought my kids and the owner was so kind to them. We looked at everything in the store and ended up with a lot of variety. My wife and I went through the wine section. There is a lot of variety and the staff had great suggestions.We have not tried a wine and chocolate tasting yet, but my wife and I are planning one.It's just a fun place to go.

A must stop when I'm back in town!! Their chocolate is wonderful, staff super friendly and helpful, and they have an amazing wine selection. Chocolate covered cheese doodles, potato chips, popcorn, and bacon - are just some of their original creations. Seriously. If you like good chocolate, you have to stop here!!

Absolutely love there chocolate candy, chocolate CBD bars, and CBD cream. The CBD stuff has been great to use after my hip surgery which is when I found out about this store. It's well worth the drive up there from Brecksville.

Came in like I usually do once a week to get a slushy and chocolates. The older white gentleman with glasses is usually friendly and takes care of me. Today on 6/17 at 545pm was totally different. I walked in and he was talking with another white man and women and was laughing. He asked me what I needed I said the Pina colada. He poured the drink and he didn't fill it to the top so I jokingly said you shorted today and and smiled. He said I give the same amount each time, do you want more? I said sure it's not full. He slammed the top down hard on the table and said "I'm not in the mood for this today" I was immediately taken back by his anger and response when he was just laughing with the two white customers in front of me. Mind you, I come here weekly for my company and never had a problem. This time he was so upset by me joking and saying that you shorted me that he turned serious and slammed the cup and top on the counter and yelled at me. I told him, I was joking but you being rude is uncalled for and I told him I didn't want the drink because I was offended by his remarks and attitude. He then proceeded to to yell and tell me to get out. I didn't make a scene, and I walked out and told him how unprofessional he was. I was at a lost for words. This is not how you treat a customer/company who faithfully supports the business weekly. I don't know what he was dealing with for him to yell at me and say he wasn't in the mood. Maybe he should have called off work if he can't handle his emotions and thinks it's OK to yell at a customer who was not acting out, being rude, or angry with him.Me and my organization will not be returning for this type of treatment. It's not OK! Im so disappointed by his actions. Hopefully management addresses his behavior and gives him some time off to get himself in a better head space so he can come to work and treat EVERYONE fairly, not just some customers.
