Bbq is in their name. So they better be good at it. And I will say. Yes they are. The smells bring you in and the flavor brings you back. The staff is friendly. And the facility is inviting and clean. I have nothing bad to say about this place.

What happened?I used to eat there frequently, but that was about 10-15 years ago.Yesterday was most likely our last time.Black Friday late afternoon (4:30pm), parking lot empty, not a soul in that place, one couple done eating and ready to leave. We ordered 2 non alcoholic beverages1) Korean egg rolls2) the two meat combo (I noticed later they charged $ 2.00 extra for the brisket, WHY???) And an upcharge for a side salad instead a regular side, but $3.99??? WHY? That two meat combo therefore came to $28.98. You must be kidding me. 3) 1/2 slab baby back ribs with two sides.# 1) served without flatware. While most people might eat them with their fingers, some might not.# 2) was a joke when it comes to size and it was cold, just the fries were hot. The salad came (as ordered ) before the main meal but just with a fork stuck into the salad. Some people want knife and fork!!!# 3) was just what I do NOT expect when ordering ribs. First of all there was hardly any meat on the bones, not cooked enough, that little meat was nearly impossible to get off the bones.The best part of the meals was the cornbread.I am still mad at myself that I did not notice the extra charge for the brisket on meal # 2, and the full price for the side salad, which was a replacement for another side. And no matter what the reason, there should be a full set of flatware available for every customer, no matter if a meal is supposedly eaten with fingers or not.Sorry, but this is not the Famous Dave's I remember from years ago. We do not mind paying a good price for good food, but this was certainly not worth the $80.

The food was delicious and the waitress was very friendly and social. She was very attentive. They do make sure that you don't leave hungry with the amount of food they give you.

Our server was friendly. Our food was served within 15 min of placing the order. I gave a 3 star because the beef brisket was tender and tasty.

What happened to this place.I ordered baby back ribs that were more like St. Louis ribs. They came out cold and not done enough.I think they need help. There was hardly anyone in the place and I was there for an hour and a half waiting for cold food. So disappointed. This was a go to of mine but after a few disappointing visits here I think it's time to go elsewhere.I feel bad for the bar tender because she doesn't know how to accommodate customers. Terrible management of time. Further I ordered the bread pudding for desert only because I had a birthday free desert and she neglected to get it for 15 minutes because she said he had to cash someone e out. I will not come back. Spare yourself the agony. I felt like I had to manage the bar tender.She did things are her slow pace. But was very kind. Just no customer service skills.Now two hours later trying to cash out. And she told me to wait because she had to do something else first.But she is nice. And is on her phone a lot.

Famous Dave's has a long deserved reputation. In the Cleveland which is good barbecue desert,.. the trip to North Olmsted is worth the trek.For me, the standard critic's trick of spreading the variety made the most sense. So, again, I chose the platter.The brisket was a master piece!Carefully smoked and saturated with yum -yum smokiness. The baked beans were minutely sweet; the corn on the cob, though petite, nonetheless, tasty.Three items offer a balanced evacuation, two quite commendable and one not so much.The potato wedges, standing in for french fries, were spectacular; firm and hot and nicely seasoned. The chicken was a mild Cajun delight; lightly spicy but still welcoming.But woe onto lazy chefs who allow their minds to wonder and their fingers to bungle the signature item... namely baby back ribs. My wife and I were confronted with a fat sandwich dangling on a bone. This was noFamous Dave's! I will return to see if remedial steps were taken. My faith in Famous Dave's is that this was an anomaly.I shall return,Reg S

My $80 plus online order said it would be ready at 1:20. I'm waiting and it's now 2:15! I have no expectations of the order being correct. If they can't meet holiday orders, they should not take them!So disappointed. My family is waiting for dinner! Horrible experience

We both had the 2 meats. I went with the Texas brisket and belly butt which reminded me of chicharrón with a great sauces. The Brisket came out cold but the staff made it right instantly!!! The service!! How could I not talk about how amazing our server was.. she was attentive, she was knowledgeable, she pleasant, and makes me definitely want to return. We also tried the fried fish. Which I wasn't a huge fan of but my other 1/2 loved.The Mac and cheese caught me off guard and had a bit of a kick and corn.. definitely will order againThe greens.. were just 100% amazing

I want to thank Ali for going above and beyond. Your service was excellent. You have a great personality. The food was delicious. Great Ambiance.

Haven't been there in quite sometime we thought we would try again , well it was worse yesterday than last time we went the ribs tasted like they had been sitting around all day or longer they were dry had a weird taste I had to disguise it with sauce , the baked beans were crappy and cold the only thing good was the broccoli even though it was cold, all & all the food was barely warm I would not recommend this place we used to go there a lot we will NOT be returning if I want ribs Cleats bar & grille on Wallings road has good ribs on Thursday and I forgot to mention our waiter was the only one working satin that section I asked for a refill and he never returned with my refill DONE WITH FAMOUS DAVES
