Great customer service with even greater donuts! Very cute tiny shop with sweet employees who greet you as soon as you enter the shop. I'm super impressed with their comeback after the crash earlier this year, and excited that my favorite donut shop is back open!

I grew up with the Sweet Cream donut shop as a kid (RIP) and I am so glad to see another donut shop succeed in Elyria years later! I moved back to the area this year and have been meaning to give them a try. I came in on a weekday and two friendly employees helped customers get in and out quickly. I was glad to see such a wide selection with a couple gimmicks (think fruity pebbles) and a ton of classics. I got a half dozen to share with family and everyone's favorites were covered! That said, I can't believe I'd gone my whole life without trying a cassata donut and now I'm dreaming of another. Everything was fresh and delicious, but the prices were still pretty comparable to a certain national donut chain. I was in a hurry, but I look forward to coming back to try a coffee drink!

"Expresso Baker" is a misnomer - a name inconsistent with the DNA of the establishment. An espresso is a modest drink often made and enjoyed quickly. Nothing in "Expresso Bakery" follows suit. Indeed, everything here is made from scratch, slowly and with care. It is designed to be enjoyed slowly, though the donuts are so sinfully tasty that it is hard to do so. Do nott make the mistake of coming in for a single donut. You will love whatever you leave with but experience regret that you couldn't enjoy more variety. Instead, grab a dozen to split with friends. On a recent visit I had several and each was better than the last. They serve both the deliciously simple (chocolate glazed) and the creatively complex (vanilla cake with buttercream and fruity pebbles). Expresso Baker life hack - although they usually sell out of the best varieties early, you can call and "reserve" goodies. And how many bakeries in Ohio serve bagels with "schmear"????

Love the place! Great coffee! Best baked goods! So sorry they had to be closed so long for repairs. Can't wait for them be o open again!

Everything here is simply delicious, especially the powdered donuts. I love them yum yum.

I've tasted their donuts at numerous parties and events so I know theyre good quality and taste great. However, I just stopped in for the first time yesterday. It was about 11:45 am and they were out of the items I usually look for. I was really looking forward to getting some goodies but seems like you need to stop there shortly after they open. I'll be back again but much earlier.One thing that bothered me though, and maybe I just didn't spot it; but there was no pricing on the donut shelves, nor up on the wall? Please correct me if I'm wrong?Sorry, can't give them a 5 Star review until after I get to make a purchase.

I just tried the donuts for the 1st time and they are so good! I tried Boston creme and an apple fritter. The Boston creme donuts are absolutely fabulous. The chocolate on top is so yummy smooth and sweet and the creme inside is so good. It doesn't taste processed. I was surprised at the size of the donuts too. They were pretty big . The apple fritter was good. The only thing is it has a weird like plasticky taste. But it was still good with the apples and it seemed perfectly glazed. Again it was a pretty big fritter. I will definitely be getting more donuts from there. I didn't go to the establishment as they were brought to me

These are the best donuts in town! They are a bit pricey, and they run out quickly, so you have to be in line when they open at 6AM, but they're well worth the hassle and the price.
