Everwild is incredible. As someone who enjoys bourbon on the reg, The location is so neat, right on Lake Erie. The building has a beachy feel and the sounds of seagulls squawking in the background is a whole vibe. It's gorgeous in the interior, almost a retro bar type decor. The staff is incredibly friendly. TJ at the bar was incredibly knowledgeable and fun. Even the owner, Rick, was there and chatted with us and then gave us a tour of the facility- for $15 which included the most amazing barrel pour that we were allowed to do ourselves!! The bourbon was fantastic and I'm so psyched to see what the future holds for this distillery. They have a vodka coming out soon and a gin eventually to follow. We didn't get a chance to eat here- we only did flights of their product, but I plan to come back here soon to try it. They have a beautiful patio that they have live music occasionally. I would totally recommend this place to anybody, as well as their distillate. Can't wait to come back here again.

We had a great time here chatting with the bartender and enjoying the atmosphere. Everwild is a sophisticated place with couches and a large bar. The drinks were pretty good, stick with the Old Fashioned!! We were hungry so we decided on a salad (get the large for it to be substantial for 1 person) and a slider. The salad was better than I expected but the slider was more of a sandwich and was just okay. This seems like a fun place to be while in downtown Sandusky!

Came here Saturday evening to relax and listen to an acquaintance play some music. This was our first time here and walking in was very welcoming. Everything was in order, clean, and expressed a good atmosphere. We sat on the patio which is very cozy. They have multiple tables, outdoor couch, and large umbrellas for shade. The patio looks toward an all glass wall into the distillery. They have a light menu, that includes some flatbread pizzas, hummus, and a few other appetizer items. Decent bourbon selection and other wines soft drinks and beverages to choose from. We selected two different flatbreads, stuff pretzel rolls and the hummus. It all was very good. My wife chose a white claw and I had to get the honey vanilla bourbon sour. Boy that was very good. Of course we had to try their desserts. My wife chose the lemon ice cake , and I the bourbon pie. Bourbon pie is the best I have ever had.We got to meet one of the owners as she was assisting with tables. She took the time to talk to us for a few minutes and we got a history lesson how the place originated. Absolutely loved her taking a few minutes to share this. What a great story. If you're in town I would give them a try. They also make their own bourbon which I will try on my next visit. Yes next visit, I will be back.

Best to start at the beginning... I had been looking forward to the opportunity to try out this nano distillery. A few days ago after a few beverages and a very little bit of food, the group that I was with decided to go here. The decor is superb, very comfortable and inviting. Excited to sample the wares, I ordered an Old Fashioned. This seemed safe and a reasonable standard for comparison. The group also orderd some food as we were actually rather hungry.Lets talk about the food for a bit. This is definitely a drinks place that also has food. The food overall was very very good. The spanikopita was lovely by all accounts. The olive sampler had two varieties to sample and they were rather well represented. Personally I would have preferred that the Greek Klamatas would have had their pits still in. But it was a good portion and fresh. The flat breads ticked most of the boxes. My protien laced one had rather little of the signature piece, to the point of having difficulty discerning it from the veggie only model. Eventually we sussed it out by looking at the accompanying greenery... So, overall the food was very good and not outrageously priced. Now, to the drinks...To speak plainly: My Old Fashioned was awful. One of the others in the group also got a menu-beverage that looked like a DQ peanut buster parfait that had been left in the sun for about 10 minutes. This was more palatable as it tasted like a liquid DQ peanut buster parfait... The other drinks in the group were simple two-parters like a Vodka and Cranberry. Neophytes could concoct these kinds of things and have them be palatable. The rest of the group sampled my sad Old Fashioned and agreed that it was more "off" than "on".I got through 50% of it and probably should have qualified for some kind of merit badge. The bathroom was astonishingly clean and smelled really good. Like I took deep breaths it was so pleasant. It was difficult to believe that this was a room dedicated to the disposal of human waste. So, plus one star for the potty.Plus 2 stars for the decor, food, and fabulous service.Minus 3 stars for being a place about great drinks and making a drink that wasn't great by some measure. That leaves 2 stars. There are a few truly great places to get a drink within walking distance. I recommend lacing up your Keds...I look forward to trying this place again to see if I just had an odd drink out.Your mileage may vary.

They have been out of business for months. Clear site and listing, so the NEW-Different restaurant may establish their own identity.
