I will never ever go back into this woman business. From the minute we walked in she was snapping at us. I was hoping to get my sons college grad cake made it was a bit elaborate. She had no clue how to make this cake. She told me the camera alone would take a month. Its rice crispy treats and fondant. I have already had one cake made with a camera. It took the other Baker 1 week to make the entire cake.I was also told this camera would be over 100$.Last cake the whole thing cost 130$. I couldn't find her number. I went looking for someone else. I found someone. She made the entire cake in 2 and a 1/2 days. She even delivers. Sets up the cake and is very reasonably priced.

I never gave this place any thought of stopping in. It's not very impressive on the outside and the sign is not eye-catching and kind of hard to read. But my boss wanted me to get a cake there so I went in and I had read the reviews before going in. I can understand why people think that Jean is a little on the rude side. She was not rude to me but it's definitely not a warm fuzzy feeling when you're in there. It's all business and she is very good at what she does. We got a retirement cake of a golf course and it was perfect and it tasted fabulous. It was $80 for half a sheet cake which is much more than I would spend normally. She gave me a cookies and cream cupcake to try - it was so soft and so good and a caramel macaron that was excellent. I don't know if I would get another cake because of the price but I wouldn't mind stopping in for a special cupcake now and then.

Great little place! We came in to get a going away party cake and they did a beautiful job with just a few days notice. The cake itself was chocolate and strawberry, and we were able to test of the flavors in store before we decided. Super good!! Loved how they put actual strawberries in the cake. They also did a wonderful job on the details on top of the cake, very accurate! Also I know that this place has a few bad reviews for service, but I wanted to say that everyone we worked with was wonderful and we had a great experience.

Super friendly, and was greeted at the front door and I purchased two red velvet cupcakes. They were very delicious and beautiful. I would definitely come back again!

Although I am not one to write reviews, I say this review needed to be shared. Happy Cakes & More in Twinsburg is owned by Jean, who is an amazing person. Not only are her cakes beautiful and delicious, but she is incredibly generous and a talented woman, too. My daughter worked for Jean during her senior internship in high school in 2011. My daughter was treated extremely well (almost like family). Oftentimes she was given free lunches from area restaurants. She also received a generous gift card for her time spent there. This is not the norm, students are not paid and should not even expect anything for their work experience. Now, that was 6 years ago. This week, Jean ran into my son at a local grocery store while he was cashiering. Seeing the Happy Cakes & More logo on Jean's shirt, he told her that his sister worked for her during her senior internship. Jean was so excited. She then came back into the grocery store with a dozen of the most beautiful cupcakes from her store and gave them to my son to give to my daughter. When I found out about this, I had to make a remark here. Jean is incredible. If there is ever a need for a cake, Happy Cakes & More should be your stop.

As the other reviews suggest, this place is not only over-priced, but it is owned and operated by someone who seems determined to put herself out of business. We spent a lot of time discussing the wedding cake and did not complain as every subsequent customer was allowed to interrupt our planning. We were especially concerned that the cake be packed carefully so that it could be transported from Twinsburg to Akron and were assured that it would be safely packaged to arrive in good shape. When it was picked up, it was not packed in any way, and when the bridesmaid asked for it to be prepared for the ride, the owner/baker said "That's your problem,not mine." The cake was mostly frosting. . .the cake itself was good, but OF COURSE the frosting smeared, despite the extraordinary efforts of the bridesmaids to hold it during the long car ride and deliver it still looking acceptable. We were VERY disappointed by the nastiness of the baker/owner and her complete lack of concern for her customers. The cake was extremely expensive, and we expected that more respect for the product and for the customers would be common sense. We will NEVER return and will urge friends, family, and acquaintances to take their business elsewhere. The lack of common courtesy and the "your problem" attitude, particularly for a very high-priced cake suggests that this place will not--and SHOULD not--stay long in business. I never write negative reviews, so please don't consider this review the whining of a complainer. I teach business courses in college, and could use this proprietor as an example that everything a businessperson should NOT do. Strongly suggest avoiding this place.

Do not use Happy Cakes in Twinsburg. I just went to order a quarter sheet cake for a baby shower and because I told her that I only wanted a quarter cake and would bet making other desserts myself for the party she refused to sell me a cake. I'm appalled that anyone would refuse to make a cake for someone just because I was going to make other treats for my guests. What a terrible business plan and I will be spreading this word.

Even Batter catered my wedding and they were amazing! We got so many compliments on the cupcakes - our family and friends still talk about them. We also had no cupcakes leftover except for a couple our wedding coordinator set aside for us early in the night. Not only were the cupcakes delicious but so was the small wedding cake we got for pictures and to cut. They were also a pleasure to work with - super nice and gave us plenty of samples to try. Everything was delivered on time and the prices were very reasonable. I would recommend Even Batter to anyone who is getting married or having a party. I plan to ask them to do the cupcakes for my baby shower as well!
