Empire China Buffet

The best time to go in is about 15 minutes after opening to 1 1/2 hours. The food I'd hot and fresh. The atmosphere is very relaxed. Honestly I do not like my food under the heat lamps for long. Including after the new food gets brought out the old food gets placed on top of the new food. Since we are limited in All You Can Eat restaurants in the area and I'd rather support locally this one fits the situation. I love the booth section over the chairs.

I was craven a buffet and was happy when I found this one but was skeptical because of the bad reviews.... but decided to go anyway!They had 6 large tables of food, 4 hot 2 cold.The salad bar was impressive for a Chinese place, I enjoyed all my dishes and tried almost everything except the soups! All the food was tasty and I was not disappointed with any of it. The waiters are on the ball with refilling our drinks and clearing the plates, the place is clean! Don't be deterred by the bad reviews this is an awesome buffet!!

The only reason we go here is it is the only Buffet in town, used to like the food, but after the pandemic it changed. They changed the Chinese staff out for the Guatemala staff. Changed the flavor, if we want Guatemala food. We would go to the Mexican restaurant. We never before, but started going to the Golden Carrel. We go here only when we don't feel like driving. We also found a Buffet in Sandyvalley area. We eat out quite offended, so they know us when we show up. Most of our friends and family don't like eating Guatemala Chinese food.​

I can't stand trying to call and place a puck up order, and it never rings just goes straight to a message saying their mailbox is full.....ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS PLACE MY ORDER. Sooooo guess it's a different Chinese restaurant then today. Thanks. Oh hey EMPTY your damned box

Good variety warm and tasty. First time visitor but will be back. Servers were very polite and orderly and hard working.

Traveling through the area. I was impressed with the buffet. A lot of options, all hot and fully stocked. Staff kept up with replacements. Seemed clean for a buffet. Was recommended to me and glad I gave them a chance. Pizza was even surprisingly good. Crab Rangoon exceptional as was the Hong Kong chicken. Really everything I tried was good.

This place is normally one of the better restaurants in the area, however I was disappointed this time . We did get seated to our table very quickly which is a big plus. We ordered a water, pink lemonade, sweet tea, and coffee to start off with. We were given the lemonade, sweet tea, water, and MILK. The lemonade wasn't the best that I've had there but not the worst I've ever had. We did get the coffee after we got the attention of an employee. The food was colder than preferred but it was still warm enough to not make a complaint. I still plan on returning one day but this was definitely not the best experience.
