Nothing is better than your own home cooked Hispanic meals, I know you would agree. Isn't it nice though when you don't want to make your traditional meal that you can visit this establishment and get a taste of your heritage. I ordered the pork and fried plantain twice (carne frita y tostones). They're pretty tasty. What makes it special is the very nice cashier that has always taken our order.I know they opened a few months ago and I am sure they will keep getting better. My one piece of advice is the following. When I first walked in all you can see is their fritters in the case (empanadas, I call them pastellillos, papa rellena (meat filled potato balls) and alcapuria. That's all I thought they had and I almost walked out, turned around and decided to try. As I was ordering my husband found one single piece a paper with menu. They had so much more to offer. So hopefully they can get large colorful images of their food and prices and have it fill their side wall.Other than that, Kuddos to this small business. Let's keep them open.

Birria tacos were amazing! The empanadas unfortunately were light on filling, mostly dough. Would return for the birria!

The food was good, and the service was great. The place was also very clean. However, we ordered "mofongo" with yellow rice and fried pork. In my opinion, the "mofongo" they served was not authentic at all; it tasted like green bananas, and instead of frying it, they boiled it. Everything else was really good. My favorite dishes were the fried pork and the yuca fries. I am willing to come back, but I definitely won't order "mofongo" again.
