Ellie-May's Gourmet Cookies

This hype is real!These cookies are just like homemade! We tried 3 different flavors. The sugar cookie was phenomenal! My husband's favorite is the chocolate with peanut butter chips in it. They are big but not massive. Chewy and a little crisp. I mentioned that we should warm one up... but they didn't last long enough to try it Arrived and I was greeted and waited on immediately, cute little spot to try out in the area.

Ellie-Mays makes some GREAT, homemade cookies! This is their second storefront, having just opened in Coventry in Cleveland Heights in mid-July of 2023. I drove by this location on my way home from work each day while they were getting it ready to open and had to make a stop to check out and support this new, local business once it was finally ready.It's bigger than their stall in Van Aken and also offers soft serve ice cream with a choice of mix-ins. The staff were very friendly and answered all my questions. I tried some of the soft serve as well as one of their cookies, the frosted snickerdoodle. The soft serve was tasty and refreshing with a nice, real vanilla bean flavor. I did not try any of the mix-ins or cone options. I got it in a kiddie size for 2.95, which is a bit high in price but it evens out if you get a cookie because I think the cookies are slightly underpriced at only 2.00! I never bought anything at their Van Aken site so I don't know if both locations are of the same quality, but this cookie was buttery, soft, and chewy. The frosting tasted like the frosting on a Cinnabon! Yummy! I want to come back on a day where they have their oatmeal raisin cookies in stock. Those are my favorite kind of cookies!Please stop at this little bakery whenever you are in the area and support Cleveland businesses!

I love this bakery and the food and people in it!Everyone is polite the and the cookies are perfect not too hard and not to soft. Perfection!

The brownies are so good! New place so I think they are still figuring out their vibe, but the cookies and baked goods are really good. A great local alternative to other cookie chains.

If you're looking for fresh homemade cookies that are really good?.. look no further than here; I'm a fan of the chocolate chip cookies and the butter cookies and peanut butter cookies are great as well. I don't think you can go wrong with whatever they make but I'm not a fan of other cookies. Try this place out you will not be disappointed.

Really good homemade cookies! I love the chocolate chip-the right amount of sweet and salty. Tonight I got the cookie sundae (soft serve with a chocolate chip cookie) and it hit the spot! Love that this is so walkable. Every time I have gone in the people working there are super nice! Will definitely be back!
