Forget these negative reviews... place was full of locals that drove out of town to enjoy the food here.. the building is historically old but kept up well and comfortable on the inside. The four in my party sat at the bar and we all thought our food was incredible. We had a good time and the owner bought us a shot. Thank you for that! Will be back while we are still in town for sure.

This place is kinda shabby looking on the outside, but it is nice and comfortable inside. The service personnel are nice and prompt. We were the only people dining at the time so they gave us the remote to the TV and we selected the movie of our choice.The menu is very much like what you would expect from a restaurant bar. Wings, sandwiches and fries. They have Ribs on Wednesday nights and a handful of other dinners (steak and fish).My personal experience wasn't so good. I ordered hot garlic parm wings and Greek fries. What I received was garlic parm wings with chili cheese fries. The waitress was kind enough to offer to correct the order, but not kind enough to apologize or offer any sort of recompense. She did, however, manage to spill butter on my pants. I guess I should appreciate that. Both the wings and the fries were not remarkable in anyway.Perhaps another time would produce different results. But, as I sit here behind my computer in my dingy skivvies whilst my pants are in the wash, I am quite confident that I could never step foot in that establishment again.

BEWARE!!!!! Party for 30 people turned out to be VERY expensive $900.00 for pizza, wings, salad and 3 apps. The owner makes it sound affordable because he won't charge for the room and then sticks it to you with a shocker of a bill. Party started at 5, he showed up at at 5:30 with a toilet part in hand that he needed to fix. The bartender for the cash bar also showed up 1/2 hour after the party started. Poor bartender had to run downstairs for pop and beer! Very unorganized.***THE STAR RATING IS ONLY BECAUSE IF YOU DONT RATE A 3 STAR OR MORE, YELP DOESN'T POST IT ON THE ESTABLISHMENT PAGE***

I don't recommend this place. No vegetables despite being on the menu, no corn dogs, mashed potatoes from a box, steak was small and tasted like freezer burn, cooked overly well done despite asking for it med rare. Fries were plentiful. Wings small and so-so. Just ok taco salad. Nice waitress. Not coming back.

The Elk Creek Inn the best smoked ribs in town! All of their food is delicious and the owner is very nice and accommodating. They also have a spacious room for private events on the 2nd floor.

I wanted 3 hours to get my food.. the waiter couldn't get any of the meals or drinks right. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The food was great! This is a good place to grab some wings and beer.

We stopped just passing by. The food was varied and phenomenally great!! The owner and his wife care about their food, how it's presented and enjoyed. Nice people good food. We'll be back!

We will definitely be back and already have been, knowing the Elk Creek just opened in early October and was looking forward to it reopening for quite sometime we held off to let them work out the kinks. Our food and service was excellent the first time and we ordered different things the second time. The wings were excellent each kind we got, the chili was good however to many beans for my liking. Love the atmosphere, casual country feeling and friendly service. Keep it up, be back again soon!!!

I and 2 friends ate and enjoyed everything. The subs were very good; the wings were some off the best I have ever eaten. Love the fried pickles! Nice and clean with attentive staff. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for!! I will be back for another visit and RECOMMEND this place!
