El Torero

One of the best Mexican restaurants in Ohio. I came from Cleveland Ohio and it beats every Mexican restaurant in Cleveland. Vegetarian friendly. Vallarta EspecialClean, Fresh and nice atmosphere. Thank you

Another new dining out experience. The decor in this place is pretty cool they have outdoor rooftop patio seating ( it was raining so we didn't get to check this section out) but looks nice if you want to have a drink outside. The dish I had was amazing. Vallarta especial The dish is pineapple with grilled pineapple, grilled chicken, steak and shrimp. Beans weren't my favorite they were kind of runny not much flavor but the rice was delicious. Nachos are good very fresh and hot when they bring them out. The cheese dip also was kind of runny so it doesn't stay on your chip. The banana Margarita was awesome frozen not a big fan of margaritas on the rocks so I can't add anything about those. My family said they were yummy.

I'm sorry to have to give this review. Our #1 Mexican restaurant is El Torero in Cortland-same owners. We recently moved & thought we'd go to the Girard one. What a disappointment. The seasonings were different or I should say non-existent. Service was slow and the margaritas were lacking. Back to Cortland for us.

I must say the food here in Girard is so much better than the Warren location. Butttttt, they used windex to wipe the tables down after they had a covid-19 outbreak here. Guess I won't be back here

The food is about average for Ohio, but there is a better place not far away called El Tapatio. Service is hit or miss in four visits. Haven't seen my waitress in 30 minutes because they are understaffed despite only one large group.

I enjoyed my lunch experience at El Torero. I love the decor. The bathrooms were spotless. The service was fine. The food was presented well and was delicious. I had a combination plate: chicken enchilada with verde sauce and a beef burrito, which was served wet. It came with a side of rice, which was fluffy and perfectly seasoned. Another reviewer complained that the beef was bland. I wouldn't disagree, but it's also not a deal breaker. A little hot sauce made it perfect. Overall, I was very pleased and would definitely eat here again.

This is the best Mexican food I've ever had. We had chori Pollo and seafood tacos. Chori. Pollo was perfectly seasoned. The refried beans were so much tastier than any other ones I've tried. The Spanish rice was perfectly cooked. The entire. Place is beautiful. So updated. Also has the cool outside balcony area if you. Wish to eat outside. Definitely a must try!!

The food sucked. It was cold the service was worse.then our waiter left he never even told us he was leaving. So we had to hunt someone down to get our check. We will never ever go back there again..if they had negative stars i would use them

Excellent food and great margaritas! Service is good and the restaurant is clean. I recommend the JB special, it's got chicken, shrimp and steak with rice, delicious!

Not very good. Tuesday night. Very slow. Took over 30 minutes to get drinks. Another 20 to order. Finally got our food at about 30 minute later but came out in pieces. Before I was able to take a bite the poor waitress spilled peach margarita on me and all over the floor. They left the broken glass and spilled mess on the floor for a while. Eventually brought over a mop and halfway cleaned it up. Never offered me anything beside a rag to wipe myself off, which never came. Food: my enchiladas had no flavor besides Campbell's tomato soup. Couldn't tell there was beef in them because there was no flavor at all. So to recap: Bad service. Bad food. Place looks nice though. I will be surprised if they're still open at Christmas
