El Rancho

This is THE place for authentic Mexican food! Great menu and prices. Their daily specials are true specials and not just features. The staff and owner are friendly and make you feel welcome. I recommend the Beef Chimichangas! They also have a cute patio with flowers for outdoor dining. Their drinks are reasonably priced and "effective"! :) I wish I could give 6 stars!!

This local restaurant in West Akron is under new ownership and is now called Los Cabos. Inside, it seems more open and brighter, and it's very clean. We had a quick, delicious dinner that started with frozen margaritas offered in two sizes, plus there's a pitcher option. The chips were good and served with a generous portion of salsa. I ordered the lobster quesadilla and it was the perfect size and had great flavor, and came with classic Mexican rice and a small salad, which is my favorite combination. Service was friendly and prompt. The decor is a little bland for a Mexican restaurant, but the music was upbeat and a good volume. We noticed the staff doing a little dancing at one point, very festive! The restaurant has a large parking lot that could use repaving.

It has always been just ok. But last night while I was eating I saw a cockroach on the bar next to my food. I will be calling the health department on Monday and I will never go back.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! Absolute best Mexican food in the area, including Cleveland. I grew up in the southern US, eating real Mexican and Tex-mex food and there wasn't anything decent in this area for years. This place has the best food, service, everything! Just amazing!

It doesn't look like much, and isn't the most elegant of places, but El Rancho is always my go-to Mexican Restaurant. Their food is great, but their service is even better. Everyone is so friendly and makes you feel like family. I eat here constantly and have never had any problems. They even stayed open through a power outage and accommodated their customers properly. There wasn't a single difference in service. Would recommend.

This place needs to be shut down tge bathroom has plumbing issue so it smells like shit when you come in ...then we sat down at the bar and here comes tge roaches absolutely unacceptable this place needs closed down immediately!!!! They have roaches and the place is nasty and it stinks thumbs down

The Carnitas are my favorite. Food and drink are great.What I like is that I've been coming here for many years, and it's always nice to see a familiar face. The staff stays!

El Rancho is one of my go-to restaurants because it's so close to home, you know what you're expecting, it's quick, and if you want to get a little tipsy they have plenty of margaritas to go around! I'm vegetarian and my favorite things are their cheese quesadillas and chalupas. I love a chalupa! My boyfriend tried their hamburger the other day which honestly should be called "everything but the kitchen sink" because it had every possible topping on it.

I was there today at 11:15 - no one was in the front at all. My friend arrived, no one was out front. I tried calling the restaurant - hoping someone would come and seat us, but no luck. After 15 minutes we left, disappointed. This is the first time this has happened, but I don't know when I will go back.
