Our waitress was wonderful. Accommodating, pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was fine. Nothing memorable, but no complaints. We had several rounds of tacos, which were reasonably authentic - though not with a huge number of meat choices. Overall, we'd definitely return.

I would've posted pictures of the food, but we were too busy enjoying it. Everything was amazing. We had the California burrito and steak quesadilla. Our servers were good and the food wait was a decent time.

I love Mexican food! To leave a restaurant happy my standard is typically, 'just don't mess it up'. However, every now and then I stumble across something great. It's clear when a restaurant is actually trying instead of trying to sail by and 'not mess it up.' I stumbled across just such a place at El Patron. It was one of the best I've been to. It was clear they put effort into everything they make. The chips and salsa are always a great telltale sign. Here, the chips were warm and salsa was tasty. We were off to a great start. We got margaritas- which were also awesome. The other places a Mexican restaurant can typically do the bare minimum are their rice, beans, chicken, and ground beef. This is especially true of the rice. Typically rice at these restaurants is dry and flavorless. This rice was awesome and full of flavor. If you get good rice- you know you're in a good spot. The beans were also great. My burrito have fajita chicken- which I enjoyed. And I tried my son's beef burrito and the ground beef had a lot of flavor. They typical meal prices were in the $12-$15 range- but the quality was worth it. It was busy in there on a Saturday night and I can see why. If you're looking for a New Mexican restaurant to try- please put this one on your list.

Absolutely the worst Mexican food I've ever eaten. My wife and I stopped in for lunch. The chips came out hot and the salsa was fantastic. This made us optimistic about the meal soon to follow. My food came out incorrect. A few minutes later I had a new plate, my first impressions were lackluster because half of each taco was laying in the beans. If I wanted it all mixed together I would asked for a bowl and a big spoon to mix it all. just for the record I eat tacos with meat only. There may have been a teaspoon of meat on each taco. Once rolled up they were about the diameter of a #2 pencil. Once you pick the soggy tacos up the grease just pours out of the end. My rice consisted of about 4 spoonfuls of rice. Our waitress asked how everything was and I was completely honest. I tipped her well, paid for my 35$ meal and we left and went to Dairy Queen. So disappointed. We Will never be back.

This place was packed! We fully enjoyed the warm chips and salsa to start, and had plenty to eat. We were told by the hotel clerk to definitely eat here. And the service was fast.

just came from El Patron Mexican cuisine restaurant. We were a party of three the service was Fair however, the amount of flies in the restaurant restaurant was unacceptable. while my sister was eating her meal. She noticed that there was a dead fly in her rice. When we called the server over, they took it back and offered to cook a new meal as a to go Option. When we were leaving, I talked to the person at the front desk and all they said was...that was so unfortunate. My next stop is calling the health department.
