El Campesino Mexican Restaurant

Mediocre food, hastily prepared. I had the Tacos Mexicanos which was listed under Specialties on the menu, so I was expecting something special, but each was merely a scoop of grilled meat (overcooked, now lukewarm) in the middle of a double soft tortilla with nothing else, but a little bowl of chopped onions and cilantro that I could sprinkle in, myself. Also came with some unexceptional rice and beans, but THAT WAS IT for the Specialty Tacos Mexicanos! No other ingredients. Little flavor. It was food.

Tasted pretty good and fresh. Margarita and other drink specials daily. Kind, professional staff. Thank you!

Staple Mexican place in the area. Good food and nice people. Always enjoy my time here.

Decided to get Mexican at the last second. Checked the local Yelp reviews and bingo this is the place. We almost missed it because the sign is hard to see. The food, the service, the price are all top shelf. The burritos were quality. We left stuffed for under $30 tip included. They also had sweet tea which was an added bonus.

Being from West Texas and knowing Mexican food, this is the only place my family comes to over and over again. Always quality, always friendly, always priced well. They are remodeling currently but ignore that, it's just great food.

The staff was extremely friendly and prompt. No complaints there. I had a "new" dish. A chicken fajita bowl. It was good but it would have presented better if it had been in some thing other than a glass soup bowl. How about a tortilla bowl?Now for the atmosphere. In desperate need of a facelift. The white ceiling not so clean had numerous water spots. Women's bathroom had an open socket. Wires were capped but.....Also the menus were tattered. See my pics.

This is the best Mexican food your going to find with good staff and great family environment.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. I've been for both lunch and dinner, dine in and takeout. With the takeout order they provide chips and salsa to finish out the meal.

The food was very Americanized . Not authentic. The enchilada tasted like it had raw dough covered in canned enchilada sauce . The burrito was not good either . Food was flavorless . I am Mexican and know my Mexican food and this place is not it . Taco Bell would have been better and that is not authentic either but at least that had more flavor . We left very disappointed. Never coming back.
