Eighty-Three Brewery

I've been to over 900 breweries and the gentleman at the bar had top notch service. Hopefully the brewery owner can see this review and recognize him. Brunette hair and facial hair. I feel that's a really weird review , but I didn't take his name. This was for about 3p on 9/27/24. He wasn't great to just me but everyone who required his service. Good beer and great corn chowder from the kitchen to boot. Thanks!

Great experience here! Stopped on our way to a wedding and the vibe of the brewery was so fun. Friendly staff, quick service, and so many options. Pizza was really great and a large serving size. Local chips added to the experience! Can't wait to go back!

Didn't eat here but the beers were amazing. Stopped in after a comedy show and the place was jamming! Would def go back! Very clean and comfortable. The servers were great.

We, of course, cozied up the bar, which is the BEST! We found Eighty-Three Brewery by its already amazing reviews, and the idea that it was in the old Goodyear factory. Always ones for " let's reduce, recycle, re-use", we wanted to see what use had been made of this space! Honestly, for a gal thats vintage, I would do different as far as decorating, but...that is just me. I'm one that wants to give tickets for not dressing appropriately. As far as brew and food?! Eighty-three Brewing does not need me! They hold their own! Matt, the absolute love behind the counter, allowed samples " before we committed". Being IPA kids, we were smitten with the star hitters on the board - "Who are The Beer Police" both made me laugh AND filled my pint glass! My Ran enjoyed the Octoberfest on tap, as well as an American IPA, the Anniversary Special (Hurry! When it is out, it is out!). It, too, was really special. Brewed with a variety of hops, your mouth had a whole party of flavors that were "hoppin'"! Of course, that pun was intended! With all that beer, we thought a delicious sandwich was in order. We enjoyed the deli on a foccasia - locally baked by "Bread". Mmm! It had Rosemary baked in - so very good! I learned that many food items are locally sourced, when able! -even the potato chips! Go for an amazing experience! Good people, food, and brew!

Came here after work for a team happy hour! I was happily surprised by how good everything was. We ordered a couple of items off the food menu: bbq chicken flatbread and pretzel bites. I would recommend both! The beer was also great. We plan on returning again because of how close it is to the office!

We were pliantly surprised by this gem. The drinks were great. Food was good and I love the selection of pinball machines. 10 out of 10 would go again.

Concert Night at Goodyear Theatre, so, busy beginning at 6:45! That being said!! AMAZING service while they busted booty to serve the line that formed before the show. GREAT flatbread!! Delicious!! My Pilsner was delish, and hub's mosaic was perfect. We'll be back -absolutely!! Five stars for Cory who washed glasses all the while serving a multitude of customers AND making great convo about music! And to the amazing art teacher who smiled non-stop through the crowd!

Nice and relaxed brewery with great food options. Got a burger and really enjoyed it. My husband got a Reuben and it was fantastic. He also got loaded tots and they were to die for. We enjoyed a bear and dinner after work with a friend and really liked the atmosphere, the beer and the food! All the bartenders were extremely friendly and provided great service! We will be back again.

Nice micro brewery in downtown Akron. They have a small but eclectic number of tap handles featuring their beer. We sampled a few beers and enjoyed them all. The beer seems well crafted and many styles are covered. Hold Mudic Limbo was my favorite: a hazy New England style IPA that was juicy and with low bitterness. Although they have only a few items food-wise, they have partnered with the neighbor restaurant next to them and ordering from there is encouraged. Unfortunately we arrived during the 90 minutes after lunch that the restaurant is closed. The $2 bag of peanuts at the bar was a good investment

Great vibes! Fun location, the pizza flatbread was really yummy. A little awkward bathroom situation but glad that urban spaces are being repurposed downtown!
