Definitely a step back to mid-century America. Where footlongs, burgers,fries and sodas reign supreme. The line was long but moved fairly swiftly. One item to take note of - is they accept cash only. There isn't any sign mentioning this until you are at the counter. There is both covered and patio dining. The food was good and the root beer great.

We were told when in GOTL you have to eat at Eddie's. We stopped in for lunch on busy Saturday afternoon. We got an order of fries, root beer and hot dogs. All was very good just a little pricey for that type of food. I get it since it is the tourist hot spot but still. It is still everyone's tradition and must do

GAF (ghetto as F&$k) They were not busy as they were open tables everywhere I counted seven people behind the counter with one girl taking orders, and three girls resting with their hands on the counter. There was a line with people line, jumping because of the slow slow service. After five minutes of waiting in line, I simply walked away .If I were the owner of this place, I would fire every single person behind the counter for ignoring customers and letting customers walk away

it has great ambience, but that's the end of the line.The food is way overpriced, and the quantity of food is minimal. If you're going for the ambience, take a generous amount of cash with you. You will need it and then you will need to go to dinner to get some food.

Timeless. The prices may have gone up but it remains the same. Crowded and busy with great food

We stopped for lunch. Hot dogs were good. Orders of fries are large. Their root beer is very good! Cash only.

Pleasantly surprised by my experience at Eddies. You order in front and pick up your food inside. CASH ONLY. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Everything is fairly priced and there is a parking lot across the street if you cannot find on street parking. We ordered the fish sandwich, sloppy joe, 6 inch hot dog and fries. There is a condiment bar inside right after you pick up your food. All of the food was really good and the temperature was great so we enjoyed sitting outside. There are restrooms in the back by the outdoor seating. If you have ever been to Sara's in Erie PA, Eddies is very similar to it.We will definitely be back!

Our family has been coming here for four generations and love it. Cheeseburger is a masterpiece and hot dogs are top notch. Prixea have gone up a bit over the past few years but all their costs have as well. A must visit in Geneva on the Lake.

We stopped by Eddie's Grill on a Saturday around 1pm with friends from Michigan. It was VERY hot and crowded that day, but the food was amazing! Parking was a little rough, but expected with GOTL. We managed to find street parking a block down. The line moves rather quick even with a large crowd. Both Andrew and I ordered the cheeseburger with fries and we split a large root beer. I would definitely put that burger in my top 3. It was so good we both wished it were bigger or they offered a double! After lunch, we headed across the street to hit up the arcade! We played games including air hockey, guitar hero, claw machines, and we even splurged on a pressed penny! The only downfall was our fries were somewhat on the bland side and the dining area was swarming with flies. It was a very hot and busy day, so it's understandable. Overall, we will definitely be back!
