East of Chicago Pizza

I have always been a fan of East of Chicago pizza and their airy crust. One of the few pizza crusts that I actually eat. I haven't tried this one since I moved to Canton and so I thought I would take a break from cooking last night and give it a shot. I ordered the same thing I always order. A medium Pepperoni, Mushroom, Extra cheese and light sauce. The pizza was great. They definitely skimped on the mushrooms and I will say that the cheese doesn't go all the way to the crust. Other than that, I will be ordering from there again.

Very disappointed!!!! I ordered a deluxe thick crust pie and the pie I received was definitely not the light, airy & crunchy East of Chicago pizza that I was expecting, the crust was flat and chewy. I took the pizza back and showed it to the guy working at the register and he said it looked like the dough did not rise properly and that was what caused the crust to turn out the way it did. He explained they were slammed Friday night and the dough never had time to rise. I left the pizza because it was not worth eating and he said he will show the owner and to expect a call. So far 24 hours later guess what, yep no call back. I called again and the manager had left and the person answering the phone said there was nothing he can do. I left my number again so let's see if I get a call tomorrow. If they do call and can make an East of Chicago pie I will review my post. Today is 10/28/19 so stay tuned for an update, I hope I don't have to leave this review as is! But for now I definitely won't be back. To be continued....11/31 3 days later I called to see the status on my pizza and they are going to replace it. I hope this one turns out better than the first.

So disappointed! Ordered wings and it looked like they killed baby chicks they were ridiculously small! Have never seen such small wings! What a rip off!

With respect to delivery, food is cold when it arrives, customer service is terrible and food in the order is often forgotten. I have given them multiple tries and the quality and service is just plain lacking. Do not order here.

This place really disappointed me. I haven't had their pizza in years and I had a BOGO coupon so I thought I would try it again. I always liked their pizza when I had it before.So I went online to check out their menu. I found the menu but they had no prices at all on there. They also didn't have online ordering but that wasn't too big of a deal. Delivery took about 50 minutes which was a little slow but not too bad. My wife loves the taco pizza so we ordered that and a 1-topping pizza (sausage). I know that 1-topping pizzas are not packed with a ton of flavor but I was disappointed because it was just mediocre. The taco pizza was good, but I'm a more traditional pizza guy so I wasn't too excited about that. My wife had no complaints. When I think of pizza chains, I used to think of East of Chicago as one of my favorites, but after my recent experience, I think it just falls somewhere in the middle.

I'm new in area, I just ordered a veggie pizza....IT WAS TO DIE FOR!!!!!I can't wait ti try their meat pizzas cause I'm not a vegetarian just trying to cut down. I just can't say enough about the pizza I got tonight.

I have been coming here for years to get my pizza. The ingredients all taste fresh, they are plentiful, and my pizza is always delicious - not greasy. I can always count on that and they've never got it wrong. The staff is always nice, but I am nice to them. I don't know who these people are who give such low ratings. It's not deserved, in my experience.

Have been regular customer for a while now. Quality, portions and service have been deteriorating. Ordered a pizza and wings. When we arrived at the stated time, pizza was ready but wings not. Waited. 20 minutes later, finally just asked for our money back. They wouldn't admit they forgot about the wings. Tried to pawn off that half hour old pizza onto us. Terrible service, very disorganized and rude. Customer lost.

Not a single employee wears a mask here! Watched a person who I assume was a manager touch his face before handling a pizza. On top of all that the service was very rude and pizza was mediocre. Stay away from this place!

None of the staff or managers wear masks, sanitize, or provide any kind of safety precautions during a series pandemic. Not even signs on the door! This is extremely poor leadership from this chain. The food is usually pretty good - but it isn't ethical to give anything higher than a star for a place that has so much contact with the community and disregards public safety.
