I'm annoyed. I'm whatever generation is above millenials but I agree the vibe of the original location is lost here and I hate that word vibe. The atmosphere is not welcoming. Why would you open a location with an even smaller patio??Anyhow, I went to the original location Tuesday, came here on Thursday. Same beer list. Only reason I came was because Island Soul food truck was here. I believe in patronizing businesses so came n got a beer. They were playing bingo. I would have played but when I asked the not attentive bartender about it she said yeah. No info or anything. WhateverSo I went out to patio to drink and wait on my food. Now the original Earnest folks would offer a seat. Hey you can share my table. This aint that type of spot. Very dog friendly place. My food beeper goes off and I leave my beer and go out the gate to get my foodI come back less than a minute later and can't get back thru the gate. Now all these kind folks on the patio just look at me like they never seen me before. Don't open the gate or give me a clue lol. I go around to the front entrance and walk around. Finished my beer and I'm out. At least 3 folks bumped my chair n no excuse me. Just not my type of spot

Too many IPA's, imho, but you can find a beer to be happy with. I visited westgate, tries to give a local bar feel, but its a bit cold and loud (bc there are no soft furnishings or sound attenuating attempts made, very echo-ee). I had a good time and the tapmaid was friendly. Its a dog friendly environment, but please if your dog cant keep from yelling at others maybe keep it home, i say this as dog owner.

This place is a bit hidden...but if you see that sign along Secor just past the BP station, turn in!I haven't been to any other EBW locations, but this one was a pleasant place to enjoy a pint late on a Friday afternoon. Not too many people there, or too much noise. Lots of tap selections, friendly service, friendly patrons who slid down so I could get an open barstool (and I dont even require that much room!). An open, simply furnished space, like a number of breweries I've seen in strip mall spaces. If the beer is good, the rest doesn't matter that much. And the beer I had was good. Got a taste of their bock and then ordered a pint. Full bodied and carmelly without going overboard on sweetness. Tried a sample of an imperial hazy IPA called The Object and that was truly splendid. Had a bit of a drive ahead of me so I got a 4-pack to go. They have quite a few canned brews in their cooler. You can get crowlers to go as well. Which I expect I'll do pretty soon.

We had so much fun in the tap room, tasting all 18 beers and enjoying conversations. The bartender is friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere is cool and fun, and the beer was delicious.

New location near Westgate! ExcellentNo food or food trucks, but they highly recommend Vito's or Calvinos. Bring your own food.

Friendly bartenderThe bay doors were down, and because of this the air seemed stale. No food, but you can order a pizza next door!Really rooting for this place!Hope it grows out and gets more of a following..... some good food and a waitstaff would really add up.
