Are you looking for food where you can taste the love that's put into it? This place is it! They just opened at the end of last month. Boss lady and Kelly runs the FOH taking orders and chatting up all the customers. She's wonderful and super welcoming. While her partner is in the back cooking up all the delicious eats. All of their recipes are from a close friend who helped them tweek their own original recipes. They have so many delicious things to choose from and from what I hear the catfish is amazing! They make all sides fresh daily and I was lucky when I got there around 6pm a fresh pan of mac and cheese had just come out of the oven. It's a bit of a wait because all of the meat is made to order but I promise it is worth the wait. I honestly don't know the last time food made me this happy. I had lemon pepper whole wings (with lemon zest ) that I literally picked clean, coleslaw, baked beans, and the best mac and cheese I'm pretty sure that I've ever eaten. By the time I left all of the tables were full and people were even coming in for carry out. This hidden gem is my new favorite place! I will definitely be returning very soon with friends!

I'm always a sucker for soul food, and my friend and I decided to stop into this new spot in Old Brooklyn to eat our feelings and try a little bit of everything.Since I can't find a menu online, I'm doing these menu items from memory. We ordered: potato hash, mac and cheese, chicken and shrimp hash, shrimp and grits and collard greens. My absolute favorite thing was the shrimp and grits. It's so hard to find buttery, creamy grits around CLE...and these were perfect. The big pieces of perfectly seasoned shrimp were the added bonus. I liked my chicken hash, but it was a lot of potato I was not prepared for.I thought it was a bit odd they don't offer soft drinks or water beyond buying individual water bottles or high-sugar juices. With this type of heavy, salty/seasoned, carby food, I need to drink a lot of water, and in short, you'll need to keep buying bottles (so, bring your own drink). I also totally get that businesses make economic decisions for the businesses, but when we were leaving, it made me so sad at the big amount of in-dining trash we had of styrofoam and non-recyclable materials...I sort've actively felt bad.Since they're new, I'm looking forward to stopping by again! Great food and fair prices in Old Brooklyn!

If I could give it zero I would Worms in food owner admitted they don't wash they food before cooking it clearly and was rude and told to get the fuck out and no refund calling health department and BBB on this place don't eat here

I was hungry and ate too fast. the meat was good, fried perfectly just need to be seasoned. If they use "slap your mama" or Lawrys seasoning salt or just salt and pepper, they can be better. Thry should do some taste tests and don't be afraid to use fresh greens for the menu and seasoning. The broccoli was good. I don't think it's a soul food restaurant but they are working on it. I will try them again soon to update my review.

Dreamz Cafe is still one of my local favorites. I think more people should go and give it a try! My favorite thing to do is order a bunch of sides and eat that for my meal.

I've tried to order from this place for 2 weeks . No answer. Google says open till one time but when I actually went there they were closed.

Food was horrible would not recommend to anyone I'd rather grab food from sheetz before I stopped her again over priced horrible quality food
