Don Tequila Mexican Restaurant

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Medina! The chips and salsa are always very fresh! We love the steak and shrimp fajitas! The margaritas are the best! This place is always crowded! The service is excellent and so fast! There's lots of seating and there's a brand new bar! Fun place!

Ordered food tonight went out with a friend for her birthday. Told the server twice because he seemed like he didn't understand the first time no tomato no rice can't have tomatoes. Here comes my food tomatoes all over the plate. I said you're gonna have to take it back I can't eat the tomatoes. They can't just be scraped off. Bring it back two minutes later with the tomato scraped off the plate. how do I know this because you could see where the rest of them were left on the plate I said I can't eat tomatoes. You're gonna have to make it new so finally after the fourth time of bringing it out they got everything right and still didn't listen. Didn't put any of my sauces on the plate just put the food and it was nasty and cold. I could get better food at Taco Bell and that's not saying much then when I talk to the manager because this gentleman wasn't understanding what I was saying for some reason, he comes back over after the manager leaves and starts to be writing me and telling me he don't make the food in the back and it's not his problem and I said will you give them the order I said so what is your problem? I said you tell him no tomatoes, no rice and then you bring it out with tomatoes on it. You know you didn't look at the plate or what that place is subpar at best if you want good Mexican food there's better places around here to get it and this one is not it.

Visited Don Tequila after a long hiatus. Upon arrival, we were immediately seated while chips and salsa were delivered. Our drink requests were taken and I went with a Modelo Negro because they had it on tap. The chips were a little too crunchy/thick, they lacked salt, and the salsa wasn't great.For dinner, I requested the David's Special. The meal was pretty good, but a tad on the salty side. I wish the mushrooms were more apparent in the dish. My wife ordered steak fajitas and I thought they tasted a little funky, but she liked them.For dessert, we requested fried ice cream and I explained to my son just how amazing fried ice cream was. When we received it 2 minutes after requesting it, it became apparent that they had deep fried the ice cream a day or two earlier and threw it back in the freezer. We couldn't get our spoons through it. It was like we were poking a rock. It was flavorless. Honestly, it was the worst fried ice cream I've ever had. So that was disappointing.Overall, I'd say the food quality has declined since our last visit.

This is our typical go to place for Mexican food. They're remodeling and adding a large bar in the front, looks like it's going to be great when it's completed. Food is always good and fast.

Bug in my daughters drink. They scolded me for not telling them sooner- we literally flagged them when we saw it. They were rude about it and blamed the door being opened when people come in. Try cleaning out the ice bin. Worst Mexican I have had. Daughter refuses to go back.Shouldn't shock anyone that a photo was taken of this disgusting experience. Next time don't treat your customers like the issue. A little concern goes a long way versus laughing at it.

Speedy fast service. A diamond in the rough surrounded in a shopping plaza!This Mexican restaurant brings out your order just as fast as you put it in. The service and food are both great. The menu is full of your typical Mexican options and something for almost everyone.I went with the grande burrito but instead of chicken or beef I asked if I could get chorizo. I was impressed that I was able to custom my burrito without any extra cost. The burrito was full of great flavor and very filling. I look forward to the next time I visit.

Nestled back off of N. Court, Street ( Pearl Road) is one of Medina's gems of a restaurant. The decour is entertaining, the staff friendly, and the seating ample and comfortable. The menu is varied and well thought out. Chicken fajitas for two is our all-time favorite but once in a while we break away from tradition and try a combo platter.The food is always good, the service quick and friendly, and we never go away hungry. Looking for good Mexican food? Give them a try, you will not be disappointed

This place is awesome! Food is fresh and well prepared.The Texas fajitas have large, tender shrimp, tender beef and chicken. The margaritas are delicious. The staff are five star and the owner is wonderful and kind!Give them a try.

This place is my all time favorite! The foods great the service is 10/10. The total vibe of the place is so friendly i absolutely love it there. Today ( Valentines Day) they were handing out roses !! 10/10 recommend !

The atmosphere is fun, the food is amazing, love the strawberry/banana margarita, and the customer service is awesome
