Don Tequila

Accidentally came here when my cousin recommended I go to the Mexican bakery around the corner.There was pretty cool, modern, cutesy robot that delivered our chips and salsa. I'm from NY and live in CT, so I'm used to expensive drinks; I was surprised their chamoy margarita was only 12 bucks. It was nice and strong, rimmed with Tajín, and garnished with pineapple and lime. I'm a fan of pretty drinks and this marg did not disappoint, it was nice and strong. I ordered grilled chicken tacos with corn tortilla; It tasted authentic; with onions and cilantro served on the side. I requested salsa verde for to top it with.Even though we came here by accident it was a nice experience, I have no complaints.

This place is super cool! There's a robot who brings you free chips & dip. Sometimes he'll bring your food orders as well. Depends on your waiter.Waiter was not attentive & kept having the buss boy do everything. I ordered shrimp tacos w/ cheese & avocado only on corn tortillas w/ sour cream on the side. It took a little minute for the food to come out. I didn't mind b/c that means it fresh! Also, I was munching on the chips & dip anyways.The free chips & dip were ok. I mean it's free. Chips were way too thick for my liking. They were hot & just came out the fryer though.Dip was delish. My food was so good. I loved it. My shrimp was cooked just right w/ a good amount of flavor.The portions were generous. My taco had so much shrimp in it,it was falling out.I def will b back when I'm in the area. I want to try the desserts! I was just too full to try any dessert.The decor inside is cool!

The vibe here is not as it is in the Elyria location. This place is nice, but everyone seems do serious all the time.. Food is good too.

They have a robot that delivers your food!!! Well, in our case it just brought the chips and salsa but it was still a cool experience. We've been here several times since they've moved to this location and it's always a good experience. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and we've never been treated poorly or felt rushed no matter how busy they've been. First, I'll start by saying, ASK how big the large margaritas are before ordering! Lol. The Margarita tower is definitely for 3 or more people but was absolutely delicious (we got the rainbow). Also, they don't skimp on the alcohol so make sure you have a designated driver!I always get the same thing - southwest tacos. Because they're amazing. My husband usually gets different things and has never been disappointed. My son lives for the carne asada as it's tender and flavorful. Food comes out super fast and accurate. To-go orders are always on point as well and just as large as the in restaurant serving sizes.Price for what you're getting is fair and we always end up taking leftovers home with us. Even when super busy, the restaurant never seems to be super loud which is nice and is always clean and welcoming!

Omg! What a difference! Thanks to Chuy, cook! Beans were great! So tired of getting beans that had consistency of chocolate pudding!! My taco salad with steak was great, generous with steak! Shout out to Sergio, what a great server with hospitality and great service! As we all know, half the pleasure of dining out is hospitality! #SatisfiedCustomer

We stopped in and picked up take-out tonight on our way to Lorain, OH. We actually came to that part of town to go to dinner at the restaurant next to it, but that place was unexpectedly closed on a Sunday evening. We'd driven all day from Chicago and were too tired to look up other restaurants, so we gave this place a shot. The staff was really nice. Our meal came out quickly, about 10 minutes. We ate in our hotel room, but they did have a few in-person diners. My vegetarian burrito was good, more like a fajita rolled into a burrito, and very large. Came with a generous side of beans, rice, chips, and salsa. My son enjoyed three streak tacos, rice, and beans. Good value, as the meals were quite big.

This being my first time at the restaurant, I am unhappy to say that my experience wasn't that good. The food was just okay. My burrito was very sloppy and easily fell apart, the meat was very chewy and could of been cooked longer. As for the service.. My server had a rather snarky, and unpleasant attitude and never came to check up on me and my table. When it came time to pay if you aren't paying with cash you are charged a $1 fee. There is nothing posted about this additional fee so I would recommend bringing cash. To end on a good note, the cat robot that brings you chips and salsa was very cute. Probably the best thing about the restaurant.

We have been going there 4 or 5 years , girl friend went there and was treated very sadly. The food was cold she wanted it to be reheated. She said the man that bought the food out was very unpleasant, then she asked for the manager then he said he was the manager . She was very upset, don't think we'll ever go back after that ...

Went there for dinner the other day and the food was awful. Ordered the table side guacamole (which was not presented table side) and it was so spicy we couldn't even eat it. Birria was very spicy and inedible too. Waste of money.

Amazing food, amazing service and amazing people!! I am always very pleased with Don Tequila!
