Dock's Beach House Bar & Grille

We had such a blast at Dock's! We went around 6:30 on a Friday night with a group of 11, so we had a bit of a wait, but it wasn't too bad. While we waited, we walked the beach and did fun pictures in the big chair, as well as on the beach. We had a lot of fun! Our server (whose name I've forgotten) was 1000% amazing! As busy as it was, she was on her A game! She was fast and efficient and super friendly! She was gracious with the group of 9 teenagers and 2 adults. On top of the amazing service, everyone (and I mean everyone) LOVED their food. I had the chicken salad sandwich with fries. My only complaint is that is was more oniony than I was expecting. I picked out as many as I could because it was so stinking delicious! It was pricey. On our entire week-long trip, this was the most expensive place we ate at. The amazing service, the laughs with the kids, watching a full steal a strawberry from someone's plate, and the memories we made were more than worth the money spent.

Good solid bat food. The ribs were "fall off the bone " good as advertised. The Chipotle BBQ is sweet and a little spicy at the end. The mac and cheese is a great side. The cucumber salad was a light bite. Refreshing The Bavarian Pretzel was the beat thing we had. Felt fresh and the Queso was plentifulThe chicken salad was good. The fried chicken sandwich was good also. We also enjoyed the crab and lobster dip. The view from the patio was priceless

The view is what this place has that keeps us coming back.The food, burgers, chicken, salads, etc are pretty standard fare. It's a great place to grab a few drinks, and fill your stomach while in the PC area. But, the beach front sand is worth the added expense. Just to update the pricing from 6 years ago:Burger,$14 to add cheese $2, to add fries another $4 so prices have doubled in 6 years.

This is my new favorite place! Friendly staff (lots of Cindy's!) Great views, delicious eats. Reminded me of Beach side in CA. Delicious, perfectly ripe avocado with well-seasoned shrimp. Can't wait to come back!

Dock's is a fun place to dine outside. It is located right on the lake. The deck eating area really helps you enjoy the sun and shore. On this evening the weather was turning bad. The staff, who was very friendly and efficient, was very focused on keeping us safe and providing a comfortable dinning experience. There was lots of staff on hand to help serve large parties.We started with some fried mushrooms. The mushrooms had a thick breading that was slight seasoned. The breading did retain a fair amount of greasy taste. The mushrooms were fairly fresh and had a slight crisp.We ordered a walleye dinner and sandwich combo. The walleye was nicely cooked. No fishy taste. The fish flaked perfectly when it was cut with a fork. The breading was thin with a slight greasy taste.The tarter sauce was fair good. Slightly sweet with a pickle relish taste. The Cole slaw was pretty good - Mayo based with small pieces of cabbage. The rice was nicely cooked and seasoned as well.

First time dining here over memorial weekend. It is always super busy whenever I pass by. We were seated pretty quickly because we got there within an hour of opening. It was crazy windy, so I didn't get pics because we were more concerned about the umbrella flying off our table. The tables & umbrella situation aren't the best being that it's right on the lake. Tables are light & no bases to hold the umbrella. We literally asked them to remove it after one went airborne and luckily didn't hurt anyone. Anyhow, the server was awesome & so was the food. Perch sandwich/fries, walleye dinner/baked potato & cucumber salad, chicken wrap/sweet potato fries and 1 lobster bisque. We all enjoyed lunch! I did try the bisque and I didn't care for it. It had a strong maybe cognac taste? Something alcohol & it was overpowering in my opinion. Happy we went & would definitely recommend!

First beautiful sunny day so we drove out to Port Clinton for a craft show and lunch. We wanted to lunch by the beach and tried Dock's House. What a lucky choice. Right on the shore with indoor and outdoor seating, you can watch the private boats and the Jet Express Ferry arriving and departing. We sat outside, service was great, atmosphere was. Beach bar and menu was really nice assorted bar food , burgers, wraps, soups and salads, with a dinner menu also available. My pulled pork sandwich was huge, my wife's perch sandwich was excellent, sides are alacart at $4 to upgrade to fries from a bag of chips ( Excellent fries by the way) . Just a great place to enjoy lakeside lunch, but mayflies might be around, and be warned prices are on high side, but well worth the price

We are so glad that we chose Dock's today for lunch! It was a beautiful day to sit outside and the food and service was excellent! Thome was our server and she was very friendly and efficient. We had mussels, the crab lobster dip and a Caesar salad. Looking forward to returning soon!

Perfect spot right on Lake Erie! Sat at the bar on the water and had an Old Fashioned and perch dinner and it was amazing.

A 1-legged Army Ranger walks into the restaurant with his service dog & regular dog."You can't bring dogs in"...My response, "he's a service dog & you have outdoor seatin."Nope...go someplace else.
