Health food and treatsEvery time I come to downtown Amherst I like to pop in and see what new items they have to offer. I love that they have put in all the work screening items before they put them in the store. They have a great menu of smoothies and paninis. Along with a market offering snacks, drinks and other health related items. In the summer they offer fresh produce. Plus they offer great snack ideas. Always look forward to what is new!

I have visited doc Watson's on three separate occasions so far and every time it has been fantastic, typically I have gotten a different sandwich every time so far my favorite was the loaded cowboy. They were all served on locally sourced sourdough bread I usually pair that with a gut health smoothie and by myself some healthy and tasty chips from the market area. It is not cheap per se, however it is like everything else in life most of the time you definitely get what you pay for this is no exception. high quality, healthy, tasty ingredients definitely make it well worth the price. This is the kind of place that folks who are interested in health conscious and delicious eats are definitely going to want to try out. Best experienced after a hard workout at the gym or a chiropractic adjustment from Doc Watson himself :-)I cannot recommend it enough.

I drove by this establishment (Restaurant / Market - Store Front) a few months ago . It's New to the area (2023.). Last night I saw a wonderful post on the Amherst Forum, a Facebook group, and it posted of this hidden gem in our town of Amherst, Ohio. So my husband and I decided to check it out TONIGHT! We walked in the door at 5:30 pm and took a quick walk around the store. There was frozen meat, specialty coffee section, homemade jams and jellies, and so much more. We decided to go ahead and have dinner there. There's only two seating options, we snagged a table. I have many dietary restrictions, I requested to have my bacon crispier then normal and Hayden (our panini chef) was more than willing to accommodate my needs. My husband's sandwich was exceptional, highly recommend it : Buon Natale $9.95 . I ordered the eggs and bacon breakfast panini (yes, I know it's dinner.) It was very good $8.95. Both came with a small bag of popcorn. We will definitely be back. we highly recommend this establishment. Go check it out, you won't regret it..

Stopped here for lunch while visiting the UH facility on Lake street at the Route 2 exit. An easy 4 minute drive. Convenient. And delicious. Staff was excellent. I highly recommend.
