If you're looking for a quaint, vintage experience, this is top notch. Cash only. Cheap beers. Affordable games. Only 8 lanes so call ahead to confirm you can get a spot. I kinda don't even want to tell you how good this place is because it feels like giving away a secret. In fact, it sucks. Don't go. Go to Mahall's or something.

I'm not a huge fan of rating high for nostalgia. That's what all previous reviews mention. We were charged $10 for one game of bowling and 2 shoe rentals. That seemed pretty pricey. Cash only. The shopkeeper was friendly, but the place was completely dead on a Saturday night around 9pm, save for a few old dudes drinking in the bar area. Most of the lanes seemed to be in pretty worn shape. There were a lot of bowling balls to choose from. The shoes we rented seemed pretty new.The thing that got me the most was that they don't have automatic scoreboards. Now, I grew up in bowling alleys and I've NEVER seen an alley where you have to score yourself manually. Maybe this is the type of establishment you enjoy after you're already trashed? I don't know. Bowling wasn't very fun here.

Very old school, but I enjoyed the quiet playing in the lane. I love the old school bowling way. Taking your scores by paper is awesome. Lots of extra stuff inside as well, claw machines and stuff. Plus the bar is cool. I will be going again. Very Mom and Pop shop and spoke with the owner for a minute. He's a great guy.

Hah, I wasn't expecting this place. After a big dinner, we were looking for a time waster until our bellies settled enough to go drink more. So we happened to land on Dickey Lanes. Man oh man. This place is definitely hanging on to another time.Hey, if you're looking for a bowling alley that hasn't changed anything since the 70s except their prices, then this is the place for you. But I have to admit I felt out of place here. It seemed like one of those "everybody here knows everybody else and we hate outsiders" kind of places.

Americana at its finest.....Mom and Pop 8 lane wonder. Great place to hang out with friends and to appreciate an Ohio kinda of past time. Bring your "A" game if you are a bowler, these lanes will test your skill. Greg, Guy, and Luci always take great care of whoever walks in the door. Good lanes, good beer, cheap prices. Summer hours differ from Winter hours, when in doubt call before heading over.

LOVE Dickeys! Family run place and kept up pretty nice. Some shady characters in here so I fit right in. This is a place where normal, working class folks go to karaoke and throw some balls down a greasy lane. If ya want patios, veggie whatever and drinks served in skinny glasses go to Mahalls..

Obviously, Allison F. doesn't know what she's talking about. At $3 per game and $2 shoe rental, its the cheapest prices in town. Challenging wood lanes, great bar service and friendly atmosphere make it great place for any bowler to hone their skills. Great place to have a party too.

Still the best. Quality old school bowling, affordable beers, good people minus the hipster quotient...get here and support a true Cleveland institution in its genuine form before its too late.
